New website and business

For a while, I have wanted to run an experimental farm. However, I couldn't figure out how to get there directly due to capital and equipment costs, and the sheer amount of time it takes to grow anything, and the sticky problem of ever becoming profitable. Now I have a plan (very similar to Dan's advice in a recent podcast to another grower) to build stuff and sell it locally and online documenting what I make on my blog, video, or (still under consideration) podcast.I already have a microfarm…See More

Luke, it's interesting to me that we have several common interests and experiences, including growing healthy food and working with neutron meters!  I'm went to your saltmakers.com website and am fascinating by your chicken system.  I plan to have land for that some day (living in an apartment right now, so no chickens allowed).  I'm curious to hear about your long term health issues, and how you worked through them.  I've had some health challenges as well (injuries and resulting chronic pain), and my journey in overcoming those has blossomed into me pursuing a new business venture.

Hi Luke -- Welcome to the 48 Days community. We're glad you joined.

This is the idea and social networking site for people that want to create their own opportunity.

I'm curious, what are some of your ideas for moving into the work and life you've always wanted?

I see you joined my buddy Kent Julian's group. That is a good move. He's a great guy. We've been friends for years. Here's the link to the audio podcast we did together.
