"I have credit card debt. I pay the cards on time but I am only able to pay a little more than the minimum amount.  What is the best strategy to get out of credit card debt? Should I get a personal loan at a lower rate and pay one consolidated…"

Profile Information

How did you hear about 48Days.NET, and what do you hope to get out of being a part of this community?
Though the podcast. I bought the book, but did not take action. I am hoping the community will help give me the kick in the butt I need. I feel worthless and that my work and skill set are not good. It would get great to get feedback from a more supportive group. I always hear Dan referencing the community in his podcasts.
What is your current work situation? Employee, self-employed, generating any income on your own?
I am self-employed due to being laid off last February of 2015. I have been generating 4k a month but have not gotten more money, just longer work hours to maintain the 4k a month.
And then...what is your goal/dream for your work life?
I would like to generate enough income to do a few things.
1. Get out of debt
2. Buy a house in LA
3. Feel comfortable instead of worrying how I pay the bills.
How about your personal life? Any specific goals or achievements or dreams you are pursuing (or want to pursue)?
I would one day like to draw comic books again and teach improv classes to people in Boyle Heights.
What would you say are your strongest talents? How are you 'wired' and what can you offer to the world (it's OK if you don't know yet, but knowing is key to pursuing your dreams!)?
I am a work horse. I will work 48 hours straight until the job is done.
I have a background in illustration, web design, branding, and graphic design. I am good with Photoshop, Illustrator, In-Design.
I am great Power Point presentations for startup businesses that need a more professional looking power point presentation
Also I am good speaking to large groups. I have lead improv workshops and classes. It is like putting on different hats, I put on my public speaking hat and away I go. High energy and lots of knowledge to share.

Are you interested in finding a better job, starting a business, growing your current business, writing a book, blogging, podcasting, coaching, speaking, sales & marketing, or something else?
I am interested in finding something I am passionate about doing. I would like to work in comics again. While pursuing my own business on the side. I am not sure what that business would be but I know to really make in life you need to have a business, not a job.
If you have a product or service to promote (now or in the near future) this is your shot to state it! Say all you'd like:
I am great at helping people come up with a brand for their business. I can help with coming up with a logo, and color scheme. I am also great at illustration and graphic design. I have worked on storyboards, comic books (pencils, inks, letters, colors, making it print ready), iPhone apps, websites and more. I also make unique Facebook covers for birthdays and other events.
