Profile Information

How did you hear about 48Days.NET, and what do you hope to get out of being a part of this community?
Read the book and listen to the podcast. I hope to get a more fulfilling, better paying job and/or generate some side income to start a business.
What is your current work situation? Employee, self-employed, generating any income on your own?
Employee
And then...what is your goal/dream for your work life?
Either be an employee for something I am more passionate about or start a business doing something I am more passionate about
How about your personal life? Any specific goals or achievements or dreams you are pursuing (or want to pursue)?
Currently I am pursuing a debt-free lifestyle. I am very close to this goal.
What would you say are your strongest talents? How are you 'wired' and what can you offer to the world (it's OK if you don't know yet, but knowing is key to pursuing your dreams!)?
I'm tenacious, hard-working, and really stick to my goals. When I find something I am interested in I attack it with almost obsessive tendencies. I remember times when I did some graphic design for somebody freelance and I would spend hours in the summer working on this job--not caring about all the time I missed with my friends. Time really flew.

Aloha Lou,

Nice to meet you, I'm Hoku. Great to hear that you are becoming debt free. I am striving for the same goal also. Furthermore, I see that you have done some
graphic design work. What kinds of designs do you draw? I am looking to start my Hawaiian lifestyle clothing company and would need a graphic designer to design my apparel.

Thank you for your time and have a great day.

Sincerely,

Hoku

Hi Lou,

I try to take time each week to welcome new members to 48Days.Net. So, let me say "welcome" to you! I know you will find this to be a great site filled with people who are experiencing true success in both life and work.

One thing I noticed on your profile is you are tenacious. That is a great core competency.

Also, I'd like to point out that one of the best places to connect with other liked-minded people here is in the GROUPS section. There are groups for just about every interest you can think of, and if you can't find a group that interests you, you can start one. Groups are my favorite part of 48Days.Net!

Finally, if you happen to be a speaker or author (or want to become either), check out these two groups. They are two of the most popular groups on the site because of all the great conversation taking place:

* Speak It Forward -- REAL Success and Profit for Speakers!
* Write It Forward -- REAL Success and Profit for Writers!

Again, enjoy 48Days.Net. It's a great place to be!

Live it forward,
Kent Julian

Hi Lou,  welcome to the community.  Glad you're here.  I too am pursuing a debt-free lifestyle.  I created a group called Your Fit Finances for people to discuss all aspects of personal finance including becoming debt free.  It's a new group and membership is low right now but i'm sure it will begin to grow soon and we can help a lot of people.  Come on over, we'd love to have someone like yourself who has almost reached the goal of being debt free.  I'm sure your experiences during your journey  would be helpfull to so many people.
