Beautiful country

Driving yesterday and today from Portland, Oregon to Salt Lake City, Utah.  What beautiful country.  The hues on the mountains....the colors of the fields, the wild life.  Absolutely beautiful.  Listened to business training cd's (probably a good idea since I'm coming to a business meeting) and worship music.  Great day!  See More

How are you learning?

Wow, I'm learning a lot about networking.  I just attended an "I take the Lead" group.  It is like the nationally known BNI's but I Take The Lead groups are only in a few states.  So, how are you branding yourself?  Do you advertise that you are a network marketer?  What kind of lingo are you using? When I go to one of these groups my basic message is:  "I have partnered with a manufacturing company that specializes in helping the average consumer like you and I save money and make money while…See More

Not Frustrated Any More

I just joined this group.  It looks interesting; just the name of it.  When I think about most start up businesses "fail" in the first 3-5 years I understand how entreprenuers can get frustrated in managing costs, time, employees, investors etc.  I wasn't sure if I really wanted to become an entreprenuer though I was raised in a family business and had told myself that I would one day be in business for myself; I was still scared and unsure. I wanted to create residual income....you know the…See More

Profile Information

How did you hear about 48Days.NET, and what do you hope to get out of being a part of this community?
I heard about 48days.net through Dan Millers books and by Dave Ramsey.
What is your current work situation? Employee, self-employed, generating any income on your own?
Self-employed as a marketing executive and coach. Just starting my coaching; setting up my home office. I am a marketing executive with a fortune 500 company who is debt-free and relies on their executives to open up people's shopping accounts. We are a manufacturing company of wellness products and provide other services. I love my business. I also tutor mostly the elementary grades.
And then...what is your goal/dream for your work life?
Creating several streams of income in the next few years. I have a desire to do some writing. As a marketing executive I see that as being a great way to create residual income. I've been apart of the the company for 16-years and now am wanting to share in the revenue. Looking for business partners as well.
How about your personal life? Any specific goals or achievements or dreams you are pursuing (or want to pursue)?
To be debt-free, be able to live on 10% and give 90% away. I definitely want to do more writing and actually publish something or several things.
What would you say are your strongest talents? How are you 'wired' and what can you offer to the world (it's OK if you don't know yet, but knowing is key to pursuing your dreams!)?
Visionary
Fun
Listener
Encourager
Want to see people win and be successful (how they define success for themselves)
Do you have a website presence anywhere?

If you have a product or service to promote (now or in the near future) this is your shot to state it! Say all you'd like:
Coaching services to individuals and people in transition. Services to people who want to move forward in areas of their lives and they are ready to do that. People who are looking for a business opportunity I can provide one.

Welcome Leta!

I try to take time each week to welcome new members to 48Days.Net. So, let me say "welcome" to you! I know you will find this to be a great site filled with people who are experiencing true success in both life and work.

I'd like to point out that one of the best places to connect with other liked-minded people here is in the GROUPS section. There are groups for just about every interest you can think of, and if you can't find a group that interests you, you can start one. Groups are my favorite part of 48Days.Net!

Finally, it sounds like you are interested in writing. If so, consider joining the Write It Forward. There are some great discussions going on that will likely be very profitable for you.

Plus, you might want to check out Speak It Forward as well. It's another group I'm involved with that has a lot of activity taking place.

Again, enjoy 48Days.Net. It's a great place to be!

Live it forward,
Kent Julian
