The Internet, Twitter, and Connections!

I moved from employment to freelancing last summer. All in all, things have gone very well. I really thought the transition would be a struggle, but it hasn't been. I got so interested in freelancing that I started a blog to discuss this as a real possibility for lots of folks. Here's the blog: Home Based Freelancer

Although, I haven't participated on 48 Days nearly as much as I would like, I have made some great…

Started a New Blog for Freelancers

Posted on January 15, 2011 at 6:53pm 0 Comments

About a week ago, I started a new blog aimed at helping others do what I've done, which is jump from employment to freelancing. You can take a look at the blog, here at Home Based Freelancer. One thing that I would like to note, however, is this. I'm not sure I would have had the courage to make this leap if it hadn't been for Dan's podcasts. Repetition is the mother of learning, and hearing Dan say week after week that it actually… Continue

A Note of Encouragement

Posted on October 30, 2010 at 11:59am 0 Comments

I'm a faithful listener to Dan's podcasts. I've noticed lately that there seems to be a disturbing thread in some of the questions, and I wanted to address that thread here.

I taught high school up until this past May.…

Hi Lee,

Thank you for sharing.

When I am helping people build up their business idea, we usually start with this crazy little idea called "purpose".

Once we get clarity on your purpose, the business plan starts to unfold effortlessly because it's connected to the purpose part of you.

Good stuff going on in there.
