Profile Information
- How did you hear about 48Days.NET, and what do you hope to get out of being a part of this community?
- I learned of 48days.net from a Christian website. I hope to give and get support and encouragement from fellow life purpose and satisfaction seekers.
- What is your current work situation? Employee, self-employed, generating any income on your own?
- Currently working PT at a daycare. I feel the importance, but not the satisfaction. Also taking online classes towards a degree in architectural drafting. I think I missed this calling years ago - as I look back and remember the cardboard castles I made for my dolls, up to my many house sketches throughout the years.
- And then...what is your goal/dream for your work life?
- Designing and coordinating the building of my own and others' dream homes and functional daycare centers - from my own home office.
- How about your personal life? Any specific goals or achievements or dreams you are pursuing (or want to pursue)?
- My personal life and the lives of my children had been like the twilight zone - until God intervened. I'd like to find someone to write a christian book based on the true story of my children's sexual abuse by their father and how we all were delivered from the situation. My prayer has been, "God, please don't let us have gone through that for nothing!"
- What would you say are your strongest talents? How are you 'wired' and what can you offer to the world (it's OK if you don't know yet, but knowing is key to pursuing your dreams!)?
- I am very detail oriented. I am always looking for a better way to do things. I can spend hours drawing and drafting and dreaming and searching the internet for designs and never get enough of it. The verse "Jesus is preparing a place for you" disturbs me because I want to create a place of my own when I get there!
- If you have a product or service to promote (now or in the near future) this is your shot to state it! Say all you'd like:
- Watch for me in the future as I become a designer/drafter of homes and daycares! I will maintain my 4.0 GPA towards my degree! I will graduate! I will get a website up and I will be helping those with their own visions of comfortable and purposeful and satisfying living.
