Profile Information

How did you hear about 48Days.NET, and what do you hope to get out of being a part of this community?
I heard about it from a friend, Erin Robison. I am looking to start my own business and there is a coaching aspect to it. I hope to get tips on that.
What is your current work situation? Employee, self-employed, generating any income on your own?
Somewhat self-employed. I'm a freelance adjunct professor and teach at 3 institutions.
And then...what is your goal/dream for your work life?
To create my own sustainable business where I can earn a solid living, not have to report to a boss, and can have some freedom to pursue my passions.
How about your personal life? Any specific goals or achievements or dreams you are pursuing (or want to pursue)?
I would love to take in foster kids and possibly adopt.
What would you say are your strongest talents? How are you 'wired' and what can you offer to the world (it's OK if you don't know yet, but knowing is key to pursuing your dreams!)?
I have had a long career in marketing, specifically marketing to Christians and women. I have recently found out I'm a good teacher. I'm a good speaker and communicator, as well as a musician. I'm visionary and detail-oriented at the same time.
Do you have a website presence anywhere?
http://www.chasinggrace3.com
Are you interested in finding a better job, starting a business, growing your current business, writing a book, blogging, podcasting, coaching, speaking, sales & marketing, or something else?
Yes. Two things: 1)Starting a business with a colleague... a webinar training business helping mid-life career changers (primarily women) master the tools need to find meaningful work and pursue their passions. and 2) Starting a blog for Christian women called "Chasing Grace" with stories of grace given and received and encouraging women who feel they spend too much time chasing after grace.

Hello Kelly,

Thanks for the comment that you left me.  I think it's exciting that you have so many ideas! You are a true entrepreneur and creative.  I often feel the same way.  Here's some advice that may help you narrow down your choices:  Start with your lowest hanging fruit.  In other words what do you enjoy and also have some expertise in? Don't worry that you aren't a master yet.  Lead from where you are.  Put the other ideas on the back burner and know that once you develop that one thing that only you can do in your own unique way, those projects will be waiting for you.  If you need more help, sign up for a complimentary coaching call here:  https://bookme.name/dreamachiever

I'd love to help you sort things out:)
