My short story, Weeping Ash, has finally started to filter out from Smashwords.com to other sites. Just noticed that it's hit barnesandnoble.com in nook format.
I'm excited about it, but it's really weird to see it on a major site.
I feel a bit squirrely about it. Has anyone else ever gotten that "Oh crap, what have I done" moment when publishing a book?

I had an epiphany this afternoon.
It all started yesterday night; I'd had a brief but lovely text conversation with someone I love and adore, but with whom I very rarely get to speak. I spent much of the aftermath alternately blushing (which is something I very rarely do) grinning like a Cheshire Cat, and missing our email exchanges which used to be a regular occurrence. Life happens and while we haven't lost touch, we don't stay in contact as much as we used to.
