The Hospital Doctor

Profile Information

How did you hear about 48Days.NET, and what do you hope to get out of being a part of this community?: I heard about it from Dan Miller's podcast, referred from Dave Ramsey. I hope to continue to get inspiration and motivation from those members who have succeeded!

What is your current work situation? Employee, self-employed, generating any income on your own?: I have been a practicing physician for 13 years and have been looking for ways to transition out of clinical medicine. I have just been hired as a Physician Advisor and will be able to work from home (or anywhere) helping hospitals to manage patient care and improve revenue.
I am also working for a wellness company as a physician chef doing cooking videos from my home. This will provide me with a marketing platform for my upcoming cookbook.

And then...what is your goal/dream for your work life?: When I first joined this community, I often joked about my work goals being 1. to be able to live anywhere, and 2. to be able to take my dogs to work with me. Well - after almost 2 years, I have acheived those goals.
Still working on my new goals!!

How about your personal life? Any specific goals or achievements or dreams you are pursuing (or want to pursue)?: We have finally realized our dream of moving to Hawaii! We are just months away from being debt-free!

What would you say are your strongest talents? How are you 'wired' and what can you offer to the world (it's OK if you don't know yet, but knowing is key to pursuing your dreams!)?: I tend to see things from the "30,000 foot view." I don't get caught up in the details. I live "outside of the box" and try to be creative in figuring out how to do things.

One of my longtime dreams was to be a lounge singer. I actually used to joke about it, never really thinking it would happen!
