Coffee and Potato Salad

Every summer, we take a vacation from Texas to my wife's family in Michigan. It's a 20+ hour drive with 7-children. Needless to say, it can be exhausting.

The good news is, I get to catch up on my podcasts. In the last couple of 48 Days podcasts, Dan has mentioned the guy that has raised over $55,000 just to make…

Can a car dealer use Social Media

Posted on August 5, 2014 at 10:49am 0 Comments

On July 18th's podcast, Dan responded to the question: "A friend recently opened up a small car dealer and he wants me to help him promote it using social media – I would be paid commission only."

Dan's response was that would be a bit of a hard business model and difficult to track sales that were "directly related" to the Social Media. I totally agree, and would…

Can you use a Typewriter in the 21st Century?

Posted on August 4, 2014 at 3:08pm 0 Comments

I had breakfast with a very creative lady, Alexis Murphy. She uses a vintage typewriter to create custom greeting cards for people and companies. These unique, one-of-a-kind cards really make an impact. I think it's great meeting people who are following their passions and finding ways to create real businesses with their art. Check her out at She Used a Typewriter

Do you know who else is using an "antique" as a…

Hi Jonathan,

I try to take time each week to welcome new members to 48Days.Net. So, let me say "welcome" to you! I know you will find this to be a great site filled with people who are experiencing true success in both life and work.

One thing I noticed on your profile is you are a coach at heart. Not many people have that ability. It's a rare gift.

Also, I'd like to point out that one of the best places to connect with other liked-minded people here is in the GROUPS section. There are groups for just about every interest you can think of, and if you can't find a group that interests you, you can start one. Groups are my favorite part of 48Days.Net!

Finally, if you happen to be a speaker or author (or want to become either), check out these two groups. They are two of the most popular groups on the site because of all the great conversation taking place:

* Speak It Forward -- REAL Success and Profit for Speakers!
* Write It Forward -- REAL Success and Profit for Writers!

Again, enjoy 48Days.Net. It's a great place to be!

Live it forward,
Kent Julian
