A vision totally out of reach (for the moment)
I dream of owning an organic farm in the Blue Ridge Mountains with a produce stand and possibily a bed and breakfast. I currently live in the Piedmont or NC on less than half an acre in a neighborhood. I've been learning to grow with compost and no pesticide. - What is your current work situation? Employee, self-employed, generating any income on your own?
- 5th year teacher at a private Christian high school (not a job I enjoy, nor one that pays well)
- And then...what is your goal/dream for your work life?
- There are so many to choose from: organic farming; speaker/preacher; possibly writing
- How about your personal life? Any specific goals or achievements or dreams you are pursuing (or want to pursue)?
- Current goals: 1) Physical - lose 20 lbs by May 30, 2012; 2) Spiritual - complete at least 1 sacrificial act of service each day for the next year; 3) Music - memorize 25 Praise and Worship/Christian songs by May 30, 2012; 4) Determine a new career to pursue by April 30, 2012; 5) Long term goal - Operate a farm and produce stand in the Blue Ridge Mountains in 5 years; 6) Musical - write 2 songs a month for the next year; 7) Develop 1 new apologetics sermon per month for the next year
