Greetings, 48 Days Tribe!I recently "retired." I wrote about this transition--still very much in its infancy--on our 48 Days-inspired website. Because this tribe is all about change, transition and growth, you might want to take a peak. Eight Reasons Why Having No Regrets is Regrettable

Greetings, 48Dayers!In my post-Olympics withdrawals I got to thinking about this phrase, "no regrets." I suppose I heard it during the 17 days of festivities. Maybe I saw it somewhere else. Doesn't matter.I posted some reflections on the topic on our website, www.PrepareForRain.com, which was built for us by Missy Stauffer and Anna Cook, of iSimplify. That's the same team that works with Dan Miller on this site. I met Missy last year when I came out…See More

Caretakers or Undertakers

So...I was updating my blog last night, kind of excited about the morning because I got to serve my church as fill-in preacher. Wanted to share some thoughts about the experience. My goal was about 400-500 words for the blog's content. Had reached the target zone for word-count, had a nice flowing blog nearly ready to post. All that was left was to add a picture into WordPress. Grabbed just the right pic, clicked on the button to add...and there was the picture. In the top left corner, not at…See More

Self-publishing dilemma

Hi, all,Since I joined in April (after attending Dan Miller's awesome "Write to the Bank" workshop), I've been very busy writing and preparing for self-publishing. My YA/teen "Potter-esque" novel manuscript is nearly complete and should come in around 80,000 words. So that's exciting. The two books I wrote years ago have been prepped for publishing through a company that was featured at WTTB. One (a spin-off on a CS Lewis novel) has already been submitted; the other (a youth ministry handbook)…See More
