Your place for community & resources to find or create work you love

We are so glad you're here and ready to take the next step! We created 48days.net as a place for community. For people to encourage each other and help each other in finding or creating work that is meaningful.

But frankly, we've outgrown it, so we're moving to provide you new resources.

48Days.net will be closing as it is today on November 30, 2017. Until then current members can click the button below to access groups and resources.

If you're new to 48days.net, connect here for a close up look at our thriving 48 Days Eagles Community and to get weekly free resources and motivation as you find and create work you love.

Hi, all,Since I joined in April (after attending Dan Miller's awesome "Write to the Bank" workshop), I've been very busy writing and preparing for self-publishing. My YA/teen "Potter-esque" novel…Continue

Profile Information

How did you hear about 48Days.NET, and what do you hope to get out of being a part of this community?
From 48Days.com, but especially from the robust recommendations last week at "Write to the Bank"
What is your current work situation? Employee, self-employed, generating any income on your own?
And then...what is your goal/dream for your work life?
Getting 2 existing book published, as well as the 3rd I'm currently working on.
What would you say are your strongest talents? How are you 'wired' and what can you offer to the world (it's OK if you don't know yet, but knowing is key to pursuing your dreams!)?
People tell me I'm able to see their big picture and discern what are the really important factors within it, so that important decisions can be made without becoming mesmerized by information overload. Additionally, helping them move from stuck to progress.
Do you have a website presence anywhere?
Are you interested in finding a better job, starting a business, growing your current business, writing a book, blogging, podcasting, coaching, speaking, sales & marketing, or something else?
We're growing the reach of our business, and are adding an emphasis on speaking into the mix.
If you have a product or service to promote (now or in the near future) this is your shot to state it! Say all you'd like:
We're working on a multilayered web presence dedicated to helping people move from a mental framework founded on scarcity to one built on abundance. Areas we intend to focus on include chronic pain, work/life balance, youth ministry challenges, financial competency, and empowering adolescent girls.
Feel free to share your Twitter name, Facebook page, and any other social media way to connect with you!

Greetings, 48 Days Tribe!

I recently "retired." I wrote about this transition--still very much in its infancy--on our 48 Days-inspired website. Because this tribe is all about change, transition and growth, you might want to take a peak. Your feedback is welcome.

Eight Reasons Why Having No Regrets is Regrettable

Greetings, 48Dayers!

In my post-Olympics withdrawals I got to thinking about this phrase, "no regrets." I suppose I heard it during the 17 days of festivities. Maybe I saw it somewhere else. Doesn't matter.

I posted some reflections on the topic on our website, www.PrepareForRain.com, which was built for us by Missy Stauffer and Anna Cook, of iSimplify. That's the same team that works with Dan Miller on this site. I met Missy last…

Caretakers or Undertakers

I was updating my blog last night, kind of excited about the morning because I got to serve my church as fill-in preacher. Wanted to share some thoughts about the experience.

My goal was about 400-500 words for the blog's content. Had reached the target zone for word-count, had a nice flowing blog nearly ready to post. All that was left was to add a picture into WordPress. Grabbed just the right pic, clicked on the button to add...and there was the picture. In the top…
