Hi Joel, I think that it comes down to listening. Passion and abilities are related but not the same thing. For clarity I talk to people I know and trust. I also pay close attention to the passage of time while I am engaged in an activity. Do I loose track of time? Do I feel energized or drained? Do I find myself thanking God?
Thank you for the question.
Mike
That's a great question, Joel.......I think one must first know what it is that they feel drawn towards; that thing that they would do for no pay. For me it's using my voice.
Thanks,
Percy
Hi Joel,
Thanks for the warm welcome! I would love to set up a time to chat. I'm on the west coast, let me know what works best for you and we'll set it up.
Best,
Bobbi Gregory
Thanks Joel!
I do have many interests and talents, and have known my passion since I was a child. This brings a unique problem for me, as I sometimes feel like a Jack of all Trades, Master of None. Also, I don't seem to know of other ways to be involved with my passion other than get more degrees. Although I love learning, I'm a bit leery of going into more expense. One more thing, I have never had a mirror (close friend) to tell me their opinions on my gifts, abilities, and weaknesses as well. Someone told me this may not be necessary, but I really desire that. By the way, I have been too quiet for too long. I have much to say, but don't really know how to put it all together in a coherent fashion. I hope to do that in this group.
Thanks for the welcome and the info, Joel.
