Your place for community & resources to find or create work you love

We are so glad you're here and ready to take the next step! We created 48days.net as a place for community. For people to encourage each other and help each other in finding or creating work that is meaningful.

But frankly, we've outgrown it, so we're moving to provide you new resources.

48Days.net will be closing as it is today on November 30, 2017. Until then current members can click the button below to access groups and resources.

If you're new to 48days.net, connect here for a close up look at our thriving 48 Days Eagles Community and to get weekly free resources and motivation as you find and create work you love.

Profile Information

How did you hear about 48Days.NET, and what do you hope to get out of being a part of this community?
Bought the books - No More Mondays and 48 Days
I recently purchased 10 copies of 48 Days to give away to people who could maximize this information if they will consume it. I enjoy helping others strive for a more fulfilling work life, even while I work out my own journey.
What is your current work situation? Employee, self-employed, generating any income on your own?
Tried the solo-preneur thing... found out I wasn't ready - BUT - I found employment that will help me grow the skills I am lacking while providing for my family. I haven't given up the entrepreneur ideas, just realigning them.
And then...what is your goal/dream for your work life?
Self generating organization that gives from the blessings I have!
How about your personal life? Any specific goals or achievements or dreams you are pursuing (or want to pursue)?
Go until the Lord tells me to stop! Give until I cannot. Give from a full cup, then continue to refill my cup.
What would you say are your strongest talents? How are you 'wired' and what can you offer to the world (it's OK if you don't know yet, but knowing is key to pursuing your dreams!)?
Technology and I get along pretty well. I like almost anything electronic or mechanical. While I would not call myself great at anything, I would say God has gifted me with talents in the area of understanding how stuff works.
Do you have a website presence anywhere?
If you have a product or service to promote (now or in the near future) this is your shot to state it! Say all you'd like:
Improving business processes, sales and marketing through the use of technology and best practice.

A new fear uncovered…

Posted on March 10, 2014 at 1:07pm 2 Comments

Due to an event the night prior, this morning I have discovered (or uncovered) a new fear (or fears). It's the fear of naivety, and fringes on the fear of being gullible.

I can see now how this has been holding me back. I have been reserved in many cases due to these fears without realizing they were there.

The event:

As the evening church service had already ended and most of the crowd had already gone home, I was in a parking lot discussion when a family…

48 fears to the work you love...

Posted on August 12, 2011 at 12:29pm 1 Comment

Alright, this whole 48 days to the work you love has got me motivated, but horribly afraid.  As a man who has always had a regular paycheck (military and public), this entrepreneurial stuff in my mid 40's is tough. I know Dan has addressed (and readdressed) many of these items, however they are real for many of us even after seeing or hearing the success stories of others.

  1. If I do it on my own, what if I…

Just noticed you joined 48Days.net -- WELCOME! It's a great site with tons of great people.

If you happen to be a speaker or author (or want to become either), check out the following groups. They are two of the most popular groups on the site because of all the great conversation taking place.

* Speak It Forward -- REAL Success and Profit for Speakers!
* Write It Forward -- REAL Success and Profit for Writers!

One other thing…I want to offer you a gift. You can download my FREE e-resource entitled Goal-Setting That Actually Works! by joining the REAL Success E-Zine community at www.liveitforward.com. It's a growing and dynamic community of people striving to live WAY BEYOND their average in the most important roles of their lives. I think you'll get a ton out of both the Goal-Setting product and the REAL Success E-Zine. And again, both are absolutely free.

Looking forward to connecting with you!

Live it forward,
Kent Julian

Hi Jerry -- Welcome to the 48 Days community. We're glad you joined.

This is the idea and social networking site for people that want to create their own opportunity.

You talk about aligning yourself with your passions, what are some of those?

Depending on what your interests are, there is a wide selection of discussion groups to get involved with.

One group that is worth looking into is 180 Service Station.
Good stuff going on in there.

Another group you'll want to stop by is the 4 points coaching compass.
One of my friends is leading the discussion and we would love to get your insights.

Jerry -- Welcome to 48Days.net. And thanks for already being a reader of my books.

I developed the concept of 48 Days to help people have a reasonable timeline for making real change in their lives. And yes, I’m convinced 48 Days is a long enough time period to evaluate where you are, get the advice of people you trust, decide what your best options are, create a plan, and ACT.

Make this your year to "align your work with your passions."

Thanks for being part of the 48 Days family. We’re glad you joined us! Dan Miller – 48 Days
