"Oops - I meant "month."  It was in my original post.  $500 a month is much more doable.  That's what I am thinking - $6,000 per year.  "

Profile Information

What is your current work situation? Employee, self-employed, generating any income on your own?
Currently, I work as a sales representative/customer service representative for a regional cellular provider. It is the BEST job that I think I have ever had. I honestly look forward to going to work in the morning. For many reasons, not just the money, this job is a tremendous blessing!
And then...what is your goal/dream for your work life?
To be honest, I am still trying to determine that. I met Dan a little over a month ago, and, again, to be honest, I'd love to do 4 or 5 different things, such as be a Life Coach, own a restaurant, run a Bed and Breakfast, and maybe release comedy albums (to be the next Jerry Clower type person.) Oh yeah, I have a dessert that I want to market and sell too!
How about your personal life? Any specific goals or achievements or dreams you are pursuing (or want to pursue)?
My wife and I are working toward building our home. We have just a little bit more debt to put out of the way before we start evaluating what we're going to do. Oh yeah, and after six years of marriage, we're going to try to produce "little Jeremys" too.
What would you say are your strongest talents? How are you 'wired' and what can you offer to the world (it's OK if you don't know yet, but knowing is key to pursuing your dreams!)?
Predominantly, I am a people person, who is strongly moved by compassion. The Lord has given me an almost "empathic" ability to be able to determine what others think and feel. I love certain aspects of the world of sales, and I REALLY love making others laugh. I am NOT an organized person, at least, not in the conventional sense.

Faithfulness

Recently, I was inspired by a lady, who is a double retiree, telling me that she is going back to college. Though she is in her sixties, she said that her plan is to start with her Associates degree, then her Bachelors, and finally, her Master's (though, knowing the strength, character, and determination of this lady, wouldn't put a Doctorate past her.)

Last night at church, I stumbled in upon the last little bit of a…

How to reconcile pride and accomplshment?

Posted on March 3, 2013 at 9:37pm 1 Comment

This will be VERY brief.

I was recently convicted by God for a pride problem that I didn't think that I had.

Much of what we do adds to the feeling of accomplishment.

How do we reconcile that with the Christian's call to be humble?

I have heard it said "True humility is not thinking less of yourself, just thinking of yourself less."  However, sometimes, we can have an over exaggerated view of ourselves.

What are your thoughts on the…

How to make $100,000 in six months

Pardon the typos and grammar issues, but I copied and pasted this from the page of Lance Wallnau.

Jeffrey Clark asks: We've heard you teach about taking over the environment of any organization or nation that we are called to operate in. What we understand you to say is that once we havelearned how the principles of the Kingdom operate, combined with the engagement of the supernatural, cultural transformation WILL happen. but could…

This is from quite a while back, but I feel it is relevant than, and I feel that Dan would sorely appreciate it.  (By the way, this is not a political statement, though this man did have my vote.)

The money didn't just vanish!

Posted on January 20, 2013 at 8:26pm 2 Comments

I heard it said recently.  This is a Jeremy misquote.

The money didn't just vanish.  The money aliens didn't just come steal it. It's out there. Now, just a smaller amount of the population have more of it.  So, rather than just cutting prices to get the bigger part of the population to give you a smaller amount of money, go after the bigger population with the bigger money.

Here would be a good way to run your business:

I will sell, to people WITH money, a…

Hi Jeremy,

Tony sounds familar, but I'm not the best with names.  I had to learn over 900 names where I worked and their faces and I think it short circuiting my brain :).  I do know some  Tilley's in Pickens County and actually went to school with Joey and Nancy Tilley.  Joey was in my class.

Good morning Jeremy,

I haven't had a chance yet to welcome you to the community. You probably have already found this to be a pretty good place where ideas flow freely and people are eager to help.

Be sure and stop by our coaching circle and participate in this week's question of the week.
