It was an absolute joyful time, especially as we got to share the day with some pretty special friends and family.…

Our Story

In November 2008, I completed my first Ironman triathlon. This was from someone who didn't know how to swim, bike, or run a short time before. Life was beyond awesome. Two months later, our family was crushed to learn that our 7-year old…

Hi Jen,
Glad you like the website. Unfortunately it's currently neglected due to other opportunities.

Thanks for your encouraging words to my audio book question. Because you offered, we would love to offer you the opportunity to create your audio book.
We need to do a lot of research. But once we have the equipment, I will shoot you a message if you're still interested.

Hi Jen, thanks for the kind words!  AND, for being the first commenter on my blog. I was so excited to see I finally had a comment.  It's been a while since I've posted, I've got a few drafts I need to finish and get on a schedule.  I had seen you here first, and was surprised to see you were able to get in with C-Lo, that's quite an accomplishment for such a young podcast.  Great job!

Jen, thanks for your reply on my page. Yes, I loved getting to baptize my son last month - one of the coolest experiences of my life, for sure!  Thank you for your active contribution on this site.

I had a question and thought I'd ask you, since you are involved in writing/publishing. I have proofread a couple of e-books for people here on the 48 Days community, and have enjoyed it.  Since I'm building my platform, so to speak, I know it's important to build goodwill with others who can help with book launches, etc.  Do you think it would be wise to put out a message to one or two 48 Days groups (i.e. writer/artist groups), offering to proof people's ebook for free?  This would not be a replacement for any professional editing service - it would just be another set of eyes looking for typos, grammar mistakes, etc.

I wouldn't want to step on anyone's toes if they are a professional editor and involved in 48 Days.  Maybe this wouldn't be a concern.  I just thought it might be a way to help others who are working on books, while also building more relationships and goodwill with others.  What do you think?
