But frankly, we've outgrown it, so we're moving to provide you new resources.

Profile Information

How did you hear about 48Days.NET, and what do you hope to get out of being a part of this community?
Dan's podcast.
Networking and support.
What is your current work situation? Employee, self-employed, generating any income on your own?
I am a youth motivational speaker. I speak to students around the country about making W.I.S.E. decisions so they can have the life they were created to live. I played drums for the band Big Daddy Weave for over 13 years, but came home to focus on my family and speaking. I am a distributor for custom drumsticks and owner of http://www.Customstix.com and blog at http://www.JeffDrummer.com
And then...what is your goal/dream for your work life?
To have multiple streams of income that will allow me to have the freedom to invest more in the lives of those around me.
How about your personal life? Any specific goals or achievements or dreams you are pursuing (or want to pursue)?
To have multiple streams of income that will allow me to have the freedom to invest more in the lives of those around me by helping others discover their calling.
What would you say are your strongest talents? How are you 'wired' and what can you offer to the world (it's OK if you don't know yet, but knowing is key to pursuing your dreams!)?
I have a clear passion for helping others fulfill their dreams. I have a teacher's heart and love helping others fulfill their calling.
Do you have a website presence anywhere?
Are you interested in finding a better job, starting a business, growing your current business, writing a book, blogging, podcasting, coaching, speaking, sales & marketing, or something else?
If you have a product or service to promote (now or in the near future) this is your shot to state it! Say all you'd like:
I just released my first book called, "Drumming Up Business to the Beat of My Own Drum" It is available at https://www.createspace.com/3478350 I am the owner of http://www.Customstix.com and I am a distributor for a company that makes custom drumsticks that can be sold at the merchandise table for bands and other musical groups. This is a unique process unlike anything that is out there. You have to see it to believe it. I also host http://www.JeffDrummer.com where I post FREE drum lessons and interviews of other musicians.
Feel free to share your Twitter name, Facebook page, and any other social media way to connect with you!

That is definitely something to digest. Now that you mention the area where I live, there are a number of local schools that I could contact. Thank you for the tips! The consideration of people that I finding on this forum is amazing. The best part is how it comes from the Christian stance.

I'm having trouble getting students. I've posted flyers, begun passing out business cards, and I'm going to place an ad in the paper. What are the things I need to do?

P.S. Thank you for your help

Hi Jeff --

Thank you for the website info -- that was completely new information to me, so I'm very interested to check it out.

It's great to meet you. I'm very familiar with Big Daddy Weave, and some of my favorite people in the world are professional musicians, so I'm a fan already! I'm also a certified consultant for The Birkman Method, which is a personality/behavioral assessment, so share your passion for helping people see their passions and giftedness. Personally, I know what my passions are but I still struggle with figuring out how to turn them into income-generating pursuits. :)

Would you mind directing me to the shortest route to explore the Microsoft websites? I will certainly check it out; it sounds like a good option for me. Is there a fee associated with the Microsoft sites?

Thanks, and blessings on your work!

After 5 Years it's Finally Here!

It all started around the table at a TGI Friday's in the late summer of 2009. My wife and I were out with another couple discussing our unknown futures and dreams. Jason, the other husband, knowing I sold custom drumsticks to bands like Casting Crowns, Mercy Me and others, asked me, "Why don't you have a website where people can create their own personalized drumsticks on the site?" That's where it all began.…

The Reality of Marriage

Posted on December 3, 2014 at 9:07pm 5 Comments

I’m standing in my office today trying to process Christmas orders for my company and I literally can’t see because of the tears streaming down my face. I had to stop and write this because I know there are so many who need to hear it.

There are 3 couples right now that my wife and I know who are…

Kids are Raised Around the Table

Posted on September 1, 2014 at 7:00am 2 Comments

One of the hardest things to do in today’s busy society is to sit around the table with every member of your family and eat an uninterrupted meal together. The inventions of T.V. trays and remote controls have put pressure on being disconnected from one another. We have become less interested in our bundle of joy and more interested in our bundle of…
