How to Be Rich?

Think of the last time you gave someone a big tip. I’m not talking about an extra $5 or $10. I’m talking about the kind of tip where the waiter or waitress stops in their tracks and begins to cry because they have a sudden realization of how that money will change their current situation.Last Christmas, I had the opportunity to give a struggling waitress a $40 tip on a $35 ticket. As my 8 year…See More

How to Stay Married

When I was in elementary school I had a “girlfriend” who I loooooved so much. We went on a date to a movie, with my parents of course, exchanged Christmas presents and felt like we had found “the one”. When I was in middle school I had a few girlfriends as well. We were “going together”. I went to dances and went on “parent accompanied” dates from time to time. What were my parents thinking?…See More

Are You Too Distracted?

How many of us sit at a restaurant with our family or a group of friends holding our cell phone in our hand before the meal comes? That’s the sound of hands going up everywhere. What about answering the phone or returning a text in the middle of the meal? There’s that sound again. I stand guilty as charged, but I’m committed to improvement. I want those I am with to think they are the most…See More

Are You Doing What’s Best?

My day is filled with good things. Very good things in fact, but often I set aside the “best” things. I love the phrase, "The enemy of the best is the good." The problem I often encounter is what I call “life”, however, it doesn’t have to be like that. We can choose what we do, just like we can choose whether we want water, soda, tea or coffee. The biggest problem is not wanting to do the…See More

That is definitely something to digest. Now that you mention the area where I live, there are a number of local schools that I could contact. Thank you for the tips! The consideration of people that I finding on this forum is amazing. The best part is how it comes from the Christian stance.

I'm having trouble getting students. I've posted flyers, begun passing out business cards, and I'm going to place an ad in the paper. What are the things I need to do?

P.S. Thank you for your help

Hi Jeff --

Thank you for the website info -- that was completely new information to me, so I'm very interested to check it out.

It's great to meet you. I'm very familiar with Big Daddy Weave, and some of my favorite people in the world are professional musicians, so I'm a fan already! I'm also a certified consultant for The Birkman Method, which is a personality/behavioral assessment, so share your passion for helping people see their passions and giftedness. Personally, I know what my passions are but I still struggle with figuring out how to turn them into income-generating pursuits. :)

Would you mind directing me to the shortest route to explore the Microsoft websites? I will certainly check it out; it sounds like a good option for me. Is there a fee associated with the Microsoft sites?

Thanks, and blessings on your work!

Are you still asking yourself that question? Well, do you know the answer? I am 39 and I think I finally figured it out. It took me long enough! What about you? Do you still long for the days as a child when you would sit and dream about becoming something great? Someone “important”? Someone who made a difference in the lives of others?
