A Question about ereaders

I am looking to get some info on ereaders. I have an idea for a complimentary product for the kindle, nook, and other ereaders. The kindle sold supposedly between 5 and 8 million in 2010. So selling…Continue

A Question about ereaders

I am looking to get some info on ereaders. I have an idea for a complimentary product for the kindle, nook, and other ereaders. The kindle sold supposedly between 5 and 8 million in 2010. So selling a comp product to just 1% of these sales at $19.99 would bring a sales total of $999,500 (50000 * $19.99). For those of you that have one what do you wish that it also did? How could you protect it better? Would you still buy it today? For those of you that don't have one what keeps you from buying…See More

How I get cheap books.

Since I blog a lot about books. I want to share with you the way in which I access books really cheap and build my own personal library. It has been said readers are leaders. So reading good material is great for anyone wanting more out of life. First of all visiting your local Salvation Army or Goodwill. This is a cheap way to acquire books. Most books sell for less than $3 so buying five is the same cost of buying one. You might be surprised the books you can pickup. Recently, I went to…See More

Education did it stop at college?

Posted on July 22, 2011 at 7:00am 0 Comments

Unfortunately, I have to admit that I haven’t done much to continue my education since college. I have been in men’s bible study groups and that has been great to strengthen my faith. However, I have a room full of books that have never been touched. I have been out of college for 7 years and I counted the books I read over that time period and it was a measly 14. Most of the 14 were read the year fater college when I did not have cable television.…

A poem I found

Posted on July 21, 2011 at 9:44am 0 Comments

Recently I decided to get off facebook

and put my face in a few books

and this poem I found

Love this poem it's pretty sound

“Touch of the Master’s Hand,” by Myra Welch

T’was battered and scarred, and the auctioneer

Thought it scarcely worth his while

To waste much time on the old violin,

But held it up with a smile.

“What am I bidden, good folks,” he cried,

“Who’ll start the bidding for me?”

“A dollar, a dollar,” then, two!…
