Thanks Jake! It's nice to see Wisconsin well represented here! My wife graduated from UW-Eau Claire and we lived in Menomonie for a couple of years when we were first married. Love that area! Looking forward to being part of the 48 Days Community!
Jake,
Thanks for welcoming me to 48DAYS! I think I will have to look into some of the groups here, maybe The Music Studio or Speak It Forward.
When I say "the emerging culture," I'm referring to the unchristian/post-christian culture that's come out in the last 30 years or so. A lot of people refer to this as simply the post-modern, but I think it goes even deeper than that. This culture is centered around technology and consumerism, and both of those play big roles in the spiritual fabric of this generation. So, how does the church reach them? It's a big question and a big job. Hopefully, I would find a way to do this through either word or music. We'll see!
Grace and peace,
~Matt
Hey Jacob!
Thanks so much for joining the Team Leadership group. Hope you jump in on all the discussions taking place.
If I remember correctly you and the wife were supposed to go to Florida? For a Homeschool convention thing? Is that correct and did you guys have fun?

In regards to the pvc, sure just play with it and see if it works. For me dowel rods work best and the price is close to the same. As for the kits I hope to do something by beginning of summer. We'll see.
How's your consulting business going?
It's great to have you a part of the "I'm Livin' Golden" group! I know it will be a great place for you to find purpose, passion, and fulfillment.
If there's anything I can do to serve you, please let me know.
Also, take a moment to join in on the discussion, Overcoming Obstacles. I'd love to hear about some of the things you've conquered in on your journey so far. And if there's something you're facing right now, I'm sure we can give you some insight on how to push through it.
