How did you hear about 48Days.NET, and what do you hope to get out of being a part of this community?
I worked with Dan Miller, the creative mastermind behind the 48 Days brand, for nearly 3 years.

What I'm looking forward to getting out of my participation here is to meet and work with like-minded people, either from a distance or in person, to assist each other in our creative and personal goals and activities, and also just make new friends. You can NEVER have too many friends!
What is your current work situation? Employee, self-employed, generating any income on your own?
Songwriter / Freelance Writer / Author / Speaker

I have my own music publishing & artist management company, 1423 Music Nashville. In conjunction with my Change Your Stars! website I'm in the process of writing the initial 8 volumes in the Change Your Stars! book series.

I recently completed by first fictional romance novel, "The Reunion", and I"m shooting for a publication date around September 1, 2017!
And then...what is your goal/dream for your work life?
Full time writer, both as a songwriter and fictional romance novelist.
How about your personal life? Any specific goals or achievements or dreams you are pursuing (or want to pursue)?
Continuing to balance my life so ALL areas get their proper focus with nothing left behind. It's hard sometimes, but SO worthwhile!
What would you say are your strongest talents? How are you 'wired' and what can you offer to the world (it's OK if you don't know yet, but knowing is key to pursuing your dreams!)?
I've been focusing my life around sharing a positive outlook on life in order to uplift and strengthen others. I created and launched my website - http://www.ChangeYourStars.com - over 12 years ago and it continues to grow with new features added regularly.

I've been sending out a daily inspirational / motivational email message to a worldwide audience under the subject "Change Your Stars!" for over 12 1/2 years, and welcome all who visit here to drop by and check out my website, and if you wish, sign up on my confidential mailing list to receive my daily quotes.
Do you have a website presence anywhere?
http://www.changeyourstars.com, http://www.jacecarlton.com
Are you interested in finding a better job, starting a business, growing your current business, writing a book, blogging, podcasting, coaching, speaking, sales & marketing, or something else?
Writing more books!!!
If you have a product or service to promote (now or in the near future) this is your shot to state it! Say all you'd like:
My first fictional romance novel, "The Reunion" will be published by the fall of 2017!

A couple of months ago I started on blog on Blogger.com but found it difficult to do certain things with it, so I recently switched over to WordPress and I'm much happier.  I've just finished the initial set-up and I've written my first blog on the new site!  Hope you'll take a few moments to read it and add your comments!  Thanks! …

"Change Your Stars!" --- The Book Is Coming!!!!!

Posted on July 17, 2009 at 9:11pm 0 Comments

Many people have been asking me if I have a Change Your Stars! book available, and after quite some time writing (and re-writing!) I'm excited to say that my new book "Change Your Stars! Up Close & Personal with Jace Carlton" is almost complete.

The book is full of inspirational / motivational quotes, stories and personal commentary, many from my Change Your Stars! website (www.changeyourstars.com). To make it all… Continue

The Fire Within!

What's your passion? What touches your heart and reaches deeper into your soul than anything else? Are you living each day in such a way as to be working towards fulfilling that passion? It doesn't matter what it might be ... what matters is your desire!

In this life there are so many wonderful options to choose from to occupy our minds and our efforts. We could spend a lifetime just pursuing one or two of them and still not have enough time to fulfill our thirst for more. Perhaps if… Continue

Walking On Fire!

Posted on January 7, 2009 at 1:00am 6 Comments

Several years ago I had a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Late one night, with a cool breeze blowing, I took a walk. It wasn't a very long walk, and it didn't take me very long to complete, but when I was done I was a different person. How so? Well, I had just taken a walk on a 20 foot long bed of hot coals, in excess of 2000 degrees, and didn't get burned!

Why, you may be asking, would I do something as crazy as that?! A dare? A bet? It was actually a challenge that I had a choice of… Continue

Standing Outside The Fire!

Many of us have heard the phrase, “You need to have a burning desire to accomplish anything great!” Great, however, is a relative term. Great in terms of what the world refers to as great is so variable. Great is something that is best defined by ourselves. Whenever we compete we should be competing against ourselves, striving to improve with each effort.

One of my favorite songs is “Standing Outside The Fire” by Garth Brooks, especially the line “Life is not tried, it is merely… Continue

Hi Jace,

It's been awhile since I've connected with you. I hope all is going well with your business and songwriting. Since I became part of the sonwriter's alliance group, I have met some pretty amazing people who share a lot of common interests and have been working with me to help me with my songwriting. The "Artists Arise" group, has been very helpful. I would like to hear how you're doing, God bless!
