Profile Information

How did you hear about 48Days.NET, and what do you hope to get out of being a part of this community?
At the 2010 Write to the Bank conference. I hope to stay motivated in writing, publishing and marketing my books; to create and maintain positive relationships with like-minded people; and to contribute to the success of others within the community.
What is your current work situation? Employee, self-employed, generating any income on your own?
Employee and part time (for now) entrepreneur.
And then...what is your goal/dream for your work life?
My work goals are to bless countless millions with my writing, preaching and other ventures and that this vocation is financially lucrative for our family and beyond.
How about your personal life? Any specific goals or achievements or dreams you are pursuing (or want to pursue)?
My personal goals are to have enough residual income to live comfortably and to bless others financially and otherwise, while having the time and energy to be actively engaged in the lives of my family.
What would you say are your strongest talents? How are you 'wired' and what can you offer to the world (it's OK if you don't know yet, but knowing is key to pursuing your dreams!)?
I am sensitive to hearing and discerning the Holy Spirit, as I have been called to preach the Gospel. I am an analytical thinker. Mathematics has always been easy to me. Writing also has been relatively easy, even though I have only recently become a reader. I have fairly strong Microsoft Excel skills.
Do you have a website presence anywhere?
Are you interested in finding a better job, starting a business, growing your current business, writing a book, blogging, podcasting, coaching, speaking, sales & marketing, or something else?
If you have a product or service to promote (now or in the near future) this is your shot to state it! Say all you'd like:
Daily Deposits for the Soul is a Christian living book that offers sound insights into biblical concepts, and challenges Christians to apply them to five areas of their lives. Written with the busy Christian in mind, each day's "deposit" takes less than 15 minutes to read. But each deposit can have a profound effect on your life and in your Christian walk. Daily Deposits for the Soul was released in the Fall of 2010 and made the Amazon bestseller list. The Bible Cure for Anxiety, released in 2013, was a Top 20 seller in its category on Amazon. The Bible Cure for Anxiety is both informational and inspirational to help you navigate through life's stresses so that you can live free from anxiety.

Hi Henry,

So glad you've joined up in the Finding your Voice group.

The best way to learn how the group works is to get involved in the discussion. Just like life - no lurkers, only participants.

I'm curious, what would you say is one of the keys to getting clarity on your calling, mission, or VOICE?

BTW - If you're also on Facebook, you can join in the fun there as well.

See you in the discussion.

Henry - here's what I wrote and meant sincerely:  "Daily Deposits for the soul is for anyone who seriously wants to deepen and strengthen their relationship with the Lord.  That's why I call it "vitamins" for the spirit.  It takes you from mere mental knowledge and assent and encourages a concrete daily step of faith which moves you from just head knowledge to beyond a shadow of a doubt knowing that you know!  It is a month well spent.  I highly recommend it.'  It's a beautiful book - I'm happy I can read through it and wish you much success.
