achieving goals while children are very young

I have two children ages 1 and 2 years who are 15 months apart. On a daily basis I am at best able to stay on top of dishes and laundry. I run a small business from home and have clients in/out daily, so I have a strong drive to keep my home spotless at all times. I work 1-2 part time jobs at any given time as well. My husband works about 100 hours/week between his full and part time jobs, leaving me home with our children most of the time. We can not cut back on work as his salary is low and…See More

Profile Information

How did you hear about 48Days.NET, and what do you hope to get out of being a part of this community?
I read both of Dan Miller's books and completed life coaching with Kent Julian, referred to me by Dan. Kent pointed me to this page.
What is your current work situation? Employee, self-employed, generating any income on your own?
I am self-employed as a pianist. I am also a homemaker.
And then...what is your goal/dream for your work life?
I hope to exceed what I used to make when I was employed. I need to work on following through with the goals I set. I am working on increasing my level of organization.
How about your personal life? Any specific goals or achievements or dreams you are pursuing (or want to pursue)?
My husband and are about to have our first baby now that I am generating enough income to support children. We need to clean out and organize our personal belongings in our new home.
What would you say are your strongest talents? How are you 'wired' and what can you offer to the world (it's OK if you don't know yet, but knowing is key to pursuing your dreams!)?
I excel at fixing things, solving problems, etc. I am able to easily come up with ideas as I have an active imagination and creativity. I love to learn about new things and frequently question established routines or the status quo. I like to lead groups and influence others. I love to encourage others and inspire them to achieve more.

Heidi,

Without your picture, I didn't realize this was YOU :) So glad you're here!!!!!

As for the goal-setting e-book, it's the same thing.

You are going to LOVE this site. It's filled with amazing people who are doing life together. You'll fit perfectly.

I am so grateful that God is working in and through you and that I got to be a part of that process. Remember, you're doing. You're the one being proactive. You're the one sticking with it. You're the one who wrote out your COMPASS and are following through with it. You're the one trusting Christ and following through with the direction you believe he's leading you.

I'm so proud of you!

Heidi,

Just noticed you joined 48Days.net -- WELCOME! It's a great site with tons of great people.

If you happen to be a speaker or author (or want to become either), check out the following groups. They are two of the most popular groups on the site because of all the great conversation taking place.

* Speak It Forward -- REAL Success and Profit for Speakers!
* Write It Forward -- REAL Success and Profit for Writers!

One other thing…I want to offer you a gift. You can download my FREE e-resource entitled Goal-Setting That Actually Works! by joining the REAL Success E-Zine community at www.liveitforward.com. It's a growing and dynamic community of people striving to live WAY BEYOND their average in the most important roles of their lives. I think you'll get a ton out of both the Goal-Setting product and the REAL Success E-Zine. And again, both are absolutely free.

Looking forward to connecting with you!

Live it forward,
Kent Julian

Hi Heidi -- Welcome to the 48 Days community. We're glad you joined.

This is the idea and social networking site for people that want to create their own opportunity.

Depending on what your interests are, there is a wide selection of discussion groups to get involved with.

One group that is worth looking into is 180 Service Station.
Good stuff going on in there.

Another group you'll want to stop by is the 4 points coaching compass.
One of my clients is leading the discussion this week, the power of belief, and you are invited to join in.
