Profile Information

How did you hear about 48Days.NET, and what do you hope to get out of being a part of this community?
I heard about 48Days.net through Dan Miller's weekly newsletter. I have already gotten so much out of this site in the short time I've been here. I've met so many great people and I learn something new every day. I love to inspire, motivate and help other people and I have been able to do quite a bit of that here. I genuinely care about other people and want to help in anyway that I can. If through these new relationships, I receive referrals or new business....GREAT! If not, well, I've made new friends...and you can never have too many of those.
What is your current work situation? Employee, self-employed, generating any income on your own?
I am self-employed and the owner of Administrative Answer.
And then...what is your goal/dream for your work life?
I would like to network and meet as many people as possible in an effort to get the word out about my business. These are difficult times, and with today's technology, there are many talented people who could work from home. Whether they be retired, stay-at-home moms, or unemployed, I would like to provide an opportunity for others to have a source of income while giving quality service and product to my clients. Full-time employees are expensive (i.e. payroll taxes, benefits, sick/vacation pay). Hiring someone to complete a project is more cost-effective. During times of turnover or increased workload, hiring an off-site person to help could be just the answer.
How about your personal life? Any specific goals or achievements or dreams you are pursuing (or want to pursue)?
My passion is children. At some point, I would like to associate with an organization that makes the lives of children better.
What would you say are your strongest talents? How are you 'wired' and what can you offer to the world (it's OK if you don't know yet, but knowing is key to pursuing your dreams!)?
I am a strong thinker and doer...a very energetic person...with a take charge attitude and a perfectionist by nature. I'm very loyal and trust-worthy and one of the most honest people you will ever meet. I am extremely focused and hard-working, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and have a strong desire to help others. I genuinely care about other people.
Do you have a website presence anywhere?

Are you interested in finding a better job, starting a business, growing your current business, writing a book, blogging, podcasting, coaching, speaking, sales & marketing, or something else?
If you have a product or service to promote (now or in the near future) this is your shot to state it! Say all you'd like:
Administrative Answer is an off-site administrative support services company. With over 30 years of experience assisting top-level executives, business owners and managers, I could be a reliable extension of your business. I am committed to providing my clients with executive level service and support without the executive expense. My goal is to partner with my clients and provide them with the support they need to focus on growing their business and become more profitable. How do I do that? By reducing their administrative costs. I provide top quality product and service without the added expense of payroll taxes, benefits, vacation and sick pay. Companies hire me when they need help with administrative and accounting tasks and my services are tax deductible to them. I offer my clients the flexibility they need. No project is too small. Whether a one-time project or projects requiring a few hours a week or month, I get the job done quickly and without the expense or hassle of hiring and training a traditional employee or using an expensive temp agency. There is no middle man to pay with me. I am also known as an independent contractor, freelancer or “virtual” assistant. I work with clients all over the country. With today's technology (i.e. internet, emails, fax machines, overnight mail) this is very doable and something that is becoming a tremendous revolution. Whether your needs center on general or executive administrative, creative or accounting, I am able to support your business. I am not a "traditional" employee. I usually work from my office, instead of my clients, and I don't just work traditional 9-5 hours. I also work at night and on the weekends...whatever suits my client's needs. I want my clients to be happy and will do whatever it takes to get the work done as quickly as possible and to their satisfaction. Since I depend on my clients for my income, their businesses sort of become my own, and I strive very hard to make them successful. If you or anyone you know might have a need for my services or would like additional information, I would welcome an opportunity to discuss further.

I've seen miracles happen. On April 19, 1984, my 5 year old son, David, suffered a severe traumatic head and brain injury and almost died. After 10 days in a coma, he suddenly awoke and made a 100% recovery. Miracles DO happen. I believe in the power of prayer and my faith is so strong.

This last year has been tough. Tough on everyone. Without my faith, I don't know how or if I would have made it through. But, I'm still here! I questioned my decision to start… Continue

A Virtual Assistant (VA) can live anywhere.

Since a Virtual Assistant works entirely virtually they can be located literally anywhere in the world and it works out very well… Continue

Hi Debbie, I haven't been on here in about a year! I've been working on a healthy lifestyle/cookbook and am almost ready to go to print. I may need some help with transferring my manuscript to adobe pdf (started in Word 98, then they quit supporting version at the first of the month, I am now working on it in Word 2007 but it has to be in a pdf for publisher. I am not a perfectionist and may need help getting it perfect for print. I've been working with several editors; one for creative writing/grammar and one for the cook book part. The spelling and grammar are good (I think) but it is getting the pages right, page numbers, etc. I am concerned about. Do you do that? What do you charge?

Thanks for your help and concern. Do you usually charge by the hour or project? Do you have a portfolio and some "typical" pricing? Go ahead and PM me so you do not take up this space for such trivial matters. :-)
