How did you hear about 48Days.NET, and what do you hope to get out of being a part of this community?
I heard about 48days.net while searching through the 48days.com website. I read 48days To The Work You Love and wanted to learn more about the Personality Styles test. Haven't taken it yet but plan on doing so within the next couple days. I'm here to network with other self employed people who are not so happy in the work they're in and are looking for a change. I'm interested in learning what type of work others are doing and how they are doing in it.
What is your current work situation? Employee, self-employed, generating any income on your own?
Self employed in a dog grooming and pet supply business.
And then...what is your goal/dream for your work life?
My goal is to get into a business I'm passionate about, preferably something related to the travel and tourism industry. I don't need to get rich.... just make a living.
How about your personal life? Any specific goals or achievements or dreams you are pursuing (or want to pursue)?
I'd like to take some sort of schooling, be it community college, trade school, or online schooling, to give me the credentials to work in the travel and tourism business.
What would you say are your strongest talents? How are you 'wired' and what can you offer to the world (it's OK if you don't know yet, but knowing is key to pursuing your dreams!)?
I'm very much a people person.... I love listening to people and finding out where they've been and where they're going with their lives.
If you have a product or service to promote (now or in the near future) this is your shot to state it! Say all you'd like:
I am the owner of Dog Gone Clean, Inc. The business is a three faceted venture.... The first part is a self service pet wash and small retail store. The second part is a full service dog grooming salon that is staffed by professional groomers. The third part is pet products ecommerce business.

Deb- I grew up in Helena MT but have been living in Franklin, TN the past 4 years. Whenever I mention "Montana" to people here they say "Awwwwe...I've ALWAYS wanted to go there..." My immediate thought is "why did I leave MT" followed by "How can I make money arranging their 'Montana experience'- preferably a fall vacation so I can go hunting." People are drawn to Montana already, and I don't even need to sell the idea. (I'm an accountant...selling doesn't come easy) I spent some time in California many years ago and...same response there. I would venture it's all over. If serving people in travel and tourism is your desire, have you considered the natural draw that Montana has and how you could coordinate someones Montana experience? May I suggest that you are living your "schooling" and living in your customers vacation playground?? People love Montana, they love the idea that Montana represents. All they need is a little coaxing to secure their vacation plans. Just some ideas.
