Profile Information

How did you hear about 48Days.NET, and what do you hope to get out of being a part of this community?
I heard about it through the 48 days podcast. I hope to figure out what business I can start to make the leap to self-employment full time!
What is your current work situation? Employee, self-employed, generating any income on your own?
Employee. I generate no income on my own
And then...what is your goal/dream for your work life?
I want to be self employed with no limits to where I can work, when I can work, and how much I can make.
What would you say are your strongest talents? How are you 'wired' and what can you offer to the world (it's OK if you don't know yet, but knowing is key to pursuing your dreams!)?
I am good at executing. I am good at making sure all the details are covered and accounted for, planning a strategy toward reaching a goal, and hitting milestones along the way.

Currently I am living this out by scaling the operations of a successful web startup.

The best way to start a business...

Years ago I decided I wanted to be a financial coach. I built the website, started blogging, and slowly put all the pieces together to take on my first client. When the time finally came and I was ready to open the doors I was excited. I'd worked hard on this and the first step was exciting!Except for one thing...No one else seemed to notice. Or care. I've seen this same thing play out over and over with friends and fellow 48days members. Great idea. Valuable service. No clients.Advice on how…See More

Deacon -- Welcome to 48Days.net. And thanks for already being a listener of my podcasts.

You’ll find this to be a warm, encouraging and innovative group here. If you’re looking for additional ideas – just stick around. This group is full of great ideas and strategies to make them come to life.

And a whole lot of others here are making the same transition you describe - from employee to self-employed. Just create a clear plan for what that would look like, then create the action to make it happen.

Thanks for being part of the 48 Days family. We’re glad you joined us! -- Dan Miller – 48 Days
