Your place for community & resources to find or create work you love

We are so glad you're here and ready to take the next step! We created 48days.net as a place for community. For people to encourage each other and help each other in finding or creating work that is meaningful.

But frankly, we've outgrown it, so we're moving to provide you new resources.

48Days.net will be closing as it is today on November 30, 2017. Until then current members can click the button below to access groups and resources.

If you're new to 48days.net, connect here for a close up look at our thriving 48 Days Eagles Community and to get weekly free resources and motivation as you find and create work you love.

Profile Information

How did you hear about 48Days.NET, and what do you hope to get out of being a part of this community?
I learned about the community from the 48 Days podcast. I'm an entrepreneur who is trapped in a "safe" J.O.B. I hope to regain the confidence, creativity, and drive that I once had as a young business owner.
What is your current work situation? Employee, self-employed, generating any income on your own?
I'm currently an employee at the world's top cancer center. It's a state position with a wide degree of latitude but little support. I have a growing public voice and influence, and a budding personal platform in my field(s) of expertise.
And then...what is your goal/dream for your work life?
My dream (it's a dream until it has legs) is to return to entrepreneurship with a scalable, low overhead business model that leverages my expertise and makes money while I sleep.
How about your personal life? Any specific goals or achievements or dreams you are pursuing (or want to pursue)?
Some of my personal goals are to become a better father, purchase a new home, ride my mountain bike from Canada to Mexico on the Great Divide Mountain Bike Route, and to leave my current J.O.B. while still being able to provide for my family.
What would you say are your strongest talents? How are you 'wired' and what can you offer to the world (it's OK if you don't know yet, but knowing is key to pursuing your dreams!)?
I'm very strategic and creative with many ideas. I often start projects and don't follow through with them (such as my website).
Do you have a website presence anywhere?

Are you interested in finding a better job, starting a business, growing your current business, writing a book, blogging, podcasting, coaching, speaking, sales & marketing, or something else?
You bet. That's why I'm here! I need help though.
If you have a product or service to promote (now or in the near future) this is your shot to state it! Say all you'd like:
I'm a recovering landscaper who has realized how unsustainable and damaging the green industry is to not only environmental health, but our own health, too. It took an epiphany of working as a sustainability manager for the world's top cancer center and learning how my former landscape industry is linked to both cancer and mass environmental damage. I've embarked on a new journey to find a new value proposition for the role that nature plays in our lives. It's no longer about curb appeal, increased property values, and prestige; it's about human, environmental, and economic health. This is the model for sustainability. I help people find the hidden and surprising benefits of nature and teach them how and WHY improving their land ethic will impact not only their health, but the health of their immediate environments. I do this with a suite of products that I'm developing to under the model of sustainability. However, I need some focus and clarity from this group to help me get traction. My product ideas are broad and range from sustainability coaching, ecosystem services, and nature tourism.

Hello David,

I try to take time each week to welcome new members to 48Days.Net. So, let me say "welcome" to you! I know you will find this to be a great site filled with people who are experiencing true success in both life and work.

One thing I noticed on your profile is you're interested in growing your business and looking for help on developing your product ideas. Well, you've come to the right place.

Also, I'd like to point out that one of the best places to connect with other liked-minded people here is in the GROUPS section. There are groups for just about every interest you can imagine. What's more, if you can't find a group that interests you, you can start one. Groups are my favorite part of 48Days.Net!

Finally, if you happen to be a speaker or author (or want to become either), check out these two groups. They are two of the most popular groups on the site because of all the great conversation taking place:

* Speak It Forward -- REAL Success and Profit for Speakers!
* Write It Forward -- REAL Success and Profit for Writers!

Enjoy 48Days.Net. It's a great place to be!

Live it forward,
Kent Julian
