Your place for community & resources to find or create work you love

We are so glad you're here and ready to take the next step! We created 48days.net as a place for community. For people to encourage each other and help each other in finding or creating work that is meaningful.

But frankly, we've outgrown it, so we're moving to provide you new resources.

48Days.net will be closing as it is today on November 30, 2017. Until then current members can click the button below to access groups and resources.

If you're new to 48days.net, connect here for a close up look at our thriving 48 Days Eagles Community and to get weekly free resources and motivation as you find and create work you love.

Historians say that back in the CIvil War a teacher turned Colonel named Joshua Chamberlain led a charge against the Confederates in the Battle of Gettysburg. He was told to defend a hill named Little Round Top at all cost. After being attacked numerous times, his men were basically out of ammunition. He ordered an all-charge with the bayonets and fought off the Confederates. This single act basically won the war for the Union.

History tells us that if the South would have won, there… Continue

We are in the middle of Baby Step 3 on the Dave Ramsey baby steps and I have a bit of a dilemma.....I may have an opportunity to attend the Counselor Training in April or June this year, but would put our goal of getting our fully funded emergency fund finished by my birthday in July in serious jeopardy. In October, my wife is the matron of honor at a wedding and we will need some money for that. So the ? is....Should I attend the Counselor Training without having our EF finished, or wait till… Continue

So I asked for the "full sha-bang" package for Christmas and my wonderful Mom and Dad bought it for me. I just finished it and I am a Precisionist. On the values graph I got L - 34, E - 25 (both going above median line) and P - 23, J - 18 (both going down from median line). My highest energy is Loyalty. The profile was almost dead-on in every area.

Last night me and me wife decided to go to IHOP and help someone out, cause if someone is working at IHOP on Christmas night, they probably need some money. In the parking lot, we prayed that the money would go to someone that needed it. After we were seated we ordered a small appitizer and drinks which totaled $7.65. We gave the waitress $50.65 and told her "no change and have Merry Christmas" as we hurried out of the restaurant to the car to try and see the reaction. From our car we watched… Continue

David -- Welcome to 48Days.net. And thanks for already being a reader of my books.

You’ll find this to be a warm, encouraging and innovative group here. If you’re looking for additional ideas – just stick around. This group is full of great ideas and strategies to make them come to life.

Congratulations on being debt-free. That's awesome. Dave Ramsey and I have been friends for over 20 years now and lots of people here are developing businesses because they got control of their finances. Keep searching for what you "want to do when you grow up." That can be an exciting journey.

Thanks for being part of the 48 Days family. We’re glad you joined us! -- Dan Miller – 48 Days

Let me know if you have any questions about the group, I have been here a while. If you are interested in starting a business (not get rich quick but really doing it right) I encourage you to join the Baby Steps to Business Group
