"Hey Dallon, I use screenflow and I run into this when I export the video at resolution that is too low. Be sure to select: Preset: Web - High
And: Dimensions: Scale by: 75%
That will render a higher resolution video so that when you upload you are…"
"I'm in the same boat as you, and here's what I've done.
I host my videos on Vimeo. I am impressed with their video quality, they have a very large storage space, and the annual cost for the Pro account isn't too bad at…"
"Here's another question, Sonya - Who is the one customer you can serve better than anyone else? Spend some time writing a profile of that ideal customer. If you can really get to know that customer, then you can do something no one else has…"
Apologies for how late this is. I've been going non-stop since pretty much Thanksgiving.
I'm definitely thinking about doing this and would be interested in talking. I'll start slowly and am looking to just work on Pleasant…"
This is a really good question. I'm airing a podcast for my Making Business Happen Radio show taking questions I've seen during my research. I'll give my answer on the show and post the link on Thursday morning after I…"
"Jack, a fantastic resource for this type of marketing is David Siteman Garland. If you haven't checked out The Rise to the Top, it's worth your time to do so. DSG started as the small business expert in St. Louis and grew from there into a…"
How did you hear about 48Days.NET, and what do you hope to get out of being a part of this community?
I heard about 48Days.Net through Dan Miller's iTunes podcast series. I want to learn more from people who are looking to create more meaningful work. I currently work for a traditional manufacturing company while I build my business and career coaching practice, and my calling lies more in coaching and teaching others how to transform their ideas into outstanding results.
What is your current work situation? Employee, self-employed, generating any income on your own?
I have just launched Whiteboard Business Partners. I have three customers, all of them related to my business coaching practice. I am also starting a career coaching practice dedicated to finance and information technology professionals looking to make a career transition. Many professionals enter these fields because they are "socially acceptable" and become unfulfilled and disillusioned.
In addition to Whiteboard, I maintain my full-time position with a large manufacturing firm. I also teach personal finance part-time at a local university one night per week.
And then...what is your goal/dream for your work life?
As my original business planning and technology practice expands, I want to expand my coaching practice to include coaching specialists in marketing, personal finance, and career coaching. I would continue my planning and technology coaching and training.
How about your personal life? Any specific goals or achievements or dreams you are pursuing (or want to pursue)?
I have a loving wife and two great boys (7 and almost 3). I want to be the dad on my kids' field trips and allow my wife to work part-time in a career she wants to pursue instead of feeling like she needs to work full-time in a job that does not fulfill her passions.
What would you say are your strongest talents? How are you 'wired' and what can you offer to the world (it's OK if you don't know yet, but knowing is key to pursuing your dreams!)?
I am a high I in the DISC profile and take great pride in persuading and influencing. I love taking my background in business planning and operations to inspire and empower my clients to improve how they run their businesses. My strength lies in helping others execute their businesses so they can work where they are most passionate and can contribute the most to their businesses.
My five StrengthsFinder capabilities are:
While my work experience spans manufacturing finance and operations, my true calling is coaching and teaching others to improve their business planning and productivity. I truly enjoy teaching others about how to turn finance and accounting from "counting the beans" to the leader in business planning and productivity.
