How did you hear about 48Days.NET, and what do you hope to get out of being a part of this community?
I heard about 48Days.Net on the 48 Days website, while listening to a podcast by Dan Miller.
What is your current work situation? Employee, self-employed, generating any income on your own?
Self employed ( I actually assist my husband in his construction/lawn care business-we had to diversify because of the economic downturn in construction), founder of a non-profit, and part-time employee ( I teach character education two days a week in a local elementary school).
And then...what is your goal/dream for your work life?
To be able to generate an income doing something I really enjoy.
How about your personal life? Any specific goals or achievements or dreams you are pursuing (or want to pursue)?
I would like to develop multiple streams of income.
What would you say are your strongest talents? How are you 'wired' and what can you offer to the world (it's OK if you don't know yet, but knowing is key to pursuing your dreams!)?
I love helping people reach their full potential. Every idea that comes to me seems to evolve around helping people.
If you have a product or service to promote (now or in the near future) this is your shot to state it! Say all you'd like:
I am the founder of a non-profit organization called Liberty's Gait. We help children with physical and/or emotional challenges receive much needed therapy through horseback riding. We do this free of charge, which is why I need to find other ways to generate income.

This is a great place to get direction on working in your passion.
You might like the group Clearing the Hurdle. I started it for folks who are determined to find the career or build the business of their dreams, but have to get over some personal financial hurdles first. You’ll probably enjoy the conversations we have going on there.
Thanks for your kind words. Also, love what you are doing with "Liberty's Gait." Since you are a non-profit, have you figure out a way to raise money so that you can grow your services? I would think "horse-related businesses" would be willing to donate something in exchange for sponsorship and publicity. Just a thought.
PS Also, if you didn't check out the free e-resource I offer entitled Goal-Setting That Actually Works! ($47 Value) to those who join the REAL Success E-Zine community (also free) at www.liveitforward.com, be sure to do so. I think you'll get a ton out of both resources.
Just noticed you joined 48Days.net -- WELCOME! It's a great site with tons of great people.
If you happen to be a speaker or author (or want to become either), check out the following groups. They are two of the most popular groups on the site because of all the great conversation taking place.
One other thing…I want to offer you a gift. You can download my FR EE e-resource entitled Goal-Setting That Actually Works! by joining the REAL Success E-Zine community at www.liveitforward.com. It's a growing and dynamic community of people striving to live WAY BEYOND their average in the most important roles of their lives. I think you'll get a ton out of both the Goal-Setting product and the REAL Success E-Zine. And again, both are absolutely free.
Cindy -- Welcome to 48Days.net. And thanks for already being a listener of my podcast.
You’ll find this to be a warm, encouraging and innovative group. If you’re looking for additional ideas – just stick around. This group is full of great ideas and strategies to make them come to life.
I love the work you're describing with Liberty's Gait. Sounds like a very worthwhile endeavor. But I also hear your concern about generating income. Sometimes the humanitarian can be combined with the income generation. I’m a big believer in being a “profitable servant.”
Thanks for being part of the 48 Days family. We’re glad you joined us! -- Dan Miller – 48 Days
Another group you'll want to stop by is the career compass. That's my group.
Good discussions and quite a bit of activity as many of the members share their thoughts and insights. We look forward to your participation.
