Hi everyone -The primary dream of my heart at this stage of my life is to spend more time in England - ultimately full-time, but even part-time (i.e. six months per year) would be great. As such, as I am currently in the market for full-time employment (having spent the past seven months as a freelance software developer), I am looking for companies that have offices in both the UK and Phoenix, Arizona. I've found one sort of by accident, but finding others is proving quite difficult - I can't…See More

NASE vs NFIB

Hi everyone -I just went full-time freelance at the beginning of this year. While wading through the world of health insurance procurement, I heard Dan speak of NASE and NFIB on a recent podcast. I'm just trying to get feedback from folks who belong to one or both of these groups, to see which is best, any pros/cons, and general thoughts. Thanks,Chris Valdivia, PhoenixSee More

Overseas relocation

Dear 48 Days members -I am a full-time software developer working for an amazing Christian ministry in Arizona. Over the past few years, I and my wife have dreamed of living in England, as we are both diehard Anglophiles.  My employer knows of this dream, and has made me the proverbial "offer I can't refuse".  They want my dream to come true, and as such, have offered to allow me to continue working as a full-time employee thru the end of 2011, while granting me 10% of my time to be spent…See More

Profile Information

How did you hear about 48Days.NET, and what do you hope to get out of being a part of this community?
How heard: from a friend who is a life coach. What are my hopes: not sure yet.
What is your current work situation? Employee, self-employed, generating any income on your own?
Full time employee. Do a wee bit of contracting work on the side.
And then...what is your goal/dream for your work life?
I am actually quite happy at my current job. I work for an awesome Christian organization. Nevertheless, I have a love of history and a desire to see more of the world.
How about your personal life? Any specific goals or achievements or dreams you are pursuing (or want to pursue)?
To move to England. To be in a place where I can easily see more of and be around European history.
What would you say are your strongest talents? How are you 'wired' and what can you offer to the world (it's OK if you don't know yet, but knowing is key to pursuing your dreams!)?
I am intelligent, and get along with people easily. I am also a pretty good problem solver

Hi Christopher,

I try to take time each week to welcome new members to 48Days.Net. So, let me say "welcome" to you! I know you will find this to be a great site filled with people who are experiencing true success in both life and work.

Also, I'd like to point out that one of the best places to connect with other liked-minded people here is in the GROUPS section. There are groups for just about every interest you can think of, and if you can't find a group that interests you, you can start one. Groups are my favorite part of 48Days.Net!

Finally, if you happen to be a speaker or author (or want to become either), check out these two groups. They are two of the most popular groups on the site because of all the great conversation taking place:

* Speak It Forward -- REAL Success and Profit for Speakers!
* Write It Forward -- REAL Success and Profit for Writers!

Again, enjoy 48Days.Net. It's a great place to be!

Live it forward,
Kent Julian

Hey Christopher,
Welcome to 48Days.net!

This is a great place to collaborate with other people who are Living on Purpose, Pursuing Perfection, and Getting the Gold! If there's anything I can do to serve you in your endeavors, please let me know.

Also, I'd love for you to chime in on the discussions in the I'm Livin' Golden group! It would be great to get your questions, comments, and insight.

We were highlighted by Dan Miller as one of the 48Days.net featured groups. I hope you’ll take a moment to join in on the excitement!
