"Hi Mitch, scanned the PLF site you sent, and the only years I could see mentioned in their references were 2003 and 2006, ie, before most of the digital explosion. (They barely mentioned twitter / social media. As a copywriter, my understanding is…"
"Hi Mitch, my first thought, as an ad writer, is what kind of ads are you thinking of? Old school print ads and Direct Mail are the vestige of established older writers AFAIK (which are also deeply intertwined with having fantastic ideas as well as…"
"Excellent choices Julian - how is Kelsey now, and how about dad? My mum sounds similar to yours, she's 89 next week and still a go-getter, heavily involved in church and the city, etc. I expect there'll be many to see her off someday too."
"Very cool chris! CAddies were amazing - i had 2 of the giants, bought cheap and fixed up, finally had to send wrecker. HAd a 72 4 door Sedan de Ville and a 77 Eldorado... will send picks somehow tomorrow."
"Hi Whitney, if you have Mac, their free iBook Author software can do some pretty amazing things it seems, I will look into it more when I'm ready. Is this what you had in mind (There is a 3-min video in lower right of screen that explains it…"
"Um, I hate to be a copy cat but I'd appreciate any who would be so kind as to like my Copywriting biz FB page! It;s fairly new and I only have 3 likes :( Thanks soooo much! See some of my ads for Economist, Dove, etc, if you like.
"Hi Kent, I also was once active in Youth ministry, and my testimony (from I.V. to Ivy League) just won 2nd in a 2012 Canadian national novice writing contest (1500 words -- 40 other entries in my category). I've been looking into which large US…"
"Thanks Mike, that reminds me Mike -- if anyone is into film-making, or wants to be, the former UK PM Tony Blair's Faith Foundation has a contest every year -- sadly it just closed for 2012 last week, but now's a good time to start thinking…"
"Also, require 50% downpayment at contract signing if you don't know much about them, as collecting payment is a big problem with some clients -- at least you'll have something. Also, limit re-writes to one or two, that way they won't…"

I wanted to send a quick welcome to the Write it Forward, Real Success and Profit for Writers group. We're glad you're here!
The group's discussion forum is packed with information, and is a great place to get feedback on your work, ideas and questions. Jump into the conversations and let us know how we can help you reach your writing goals.
Ches, welcome to Embracing Introvertedness. I hope you find our group helpful and encouraging. It appears that you like to write and are good at it. I would suggest you consider joining the Write It Forward group. I'm a part of it and find it encouraging (and I'm not even writing anything...yet!). It may be right up your alley.
I try to take time each week to welcome new members to 48Days.Net. So, let me say "welcome" to you! I know you will find this to be a great site filled with people who are experiencing true success in both life and work.
I'd like to point out that one of the best places to connect with other liked-minded people here is in the GROUPS section. There are groups for just about every interest you can think of, and if you can't find a group that interests you, you can start one. Groups are my favorite part of 48Days.Net!
Finally, it sounds like you are interested in writing. If so, consider joining the Write It Forward. There are some great discussions going on that will likely be very profitable for you.
Plus, you might want to check out Speak It Forward as well. It's another group I'm involved with that has a lot of activity taking place.
Again, enjoy 48Days.Net. It's a great place to be!
