Profile Information

How did you hear about 48Days.NET, and what do you hope to get out of being a part of this community?
I first heard about Dan Miller through The Dave Ramsey Show and have been listening to his podcast since. This is what brought me to 48 Days.

I hope to get working relationships with members of the community to help me grow personally and in business. I have a goal to become a coach and I think the community will help me with ideas, strive to reach my goals, and give me a place to learn and teach.
What is your current work situation? Employee, self-employed, generating any income on your own?
I work in HR and enjoy what I do. I currently do not have a business of my own but that is one of the reasons I am at 48 Days.
And then...what is your goal/dream for your work life?
My goal for work life is to stay where I am at but adding a part time coaching business of my own. I enjoy my current work but feel that it is my calling to be a coach.
How about your personal life? Any specific goals or achievements or dreams you are pursuing (or want to pursue)?
Right now I am an FPU Coordinator and my wife and I have goals to get in shape physically and financially.
What would you say are your strongest talents? How are you 'wired' and what can you offer to the world (it's OK if you don't know yet, but knowing is key to pursuing your dreams!)?
I think I can offer knowledge and experience. Though I am still at a young age I have had major behavior changes in the last decade related to money, outlook, marriage, parenthood and more. I think what I have learned can be of benefit to many people I know who are still stuck in that rut and don't have a direction.
Do you have a website presence anywhere?

The Moments You Know Your Life Changed

Posted on July 4, 2012 at 9:10am 2 Comments

There are few moments you know when your life was changed.  I was thinking about this recently and it occurred to me that my life changed greatly on December 12, 2010.  That was the day we began doing the babysteps in "The Total Money Makeover."  A couple months later I was coordinating FPU and not long after I knew I wanted to be a life coach.

If it weren't for that moment I would have never found my passion (or would have at least delayed it by what I would say years).  I would…

Failure Is An Event Not A Person

“Remember that failure is an event, not a person” – Zig Ziglar

Everyone fails at one time or another and it can often feel like you will not recover.  How many times have you had the wind knocked out of you because of a “failure” only to discover a little ways down the road it wasn’t so bad?

Would you…

PS Also, in case you're interested, I offer a free resource entitled Goal-Setting That Actually Works! to those who join the Make The Move email community (also free). I think you'll get a ton out of both resources.

Welcome Cayce,

I try to take time each week to welcome new members to 48Days.Net. So, let me say "welcome" to you! I know you will find this to be a great site filled with people who are experiencing true success in both life and work.

I'd like to point out that one of the best places to connect with other liked-minded people here is in the GROUPS section. There are groups for just about every interest you can think of, and if you can't find a group that interests you, you can start one. Groups are my favorite part of 48Days.Net!

Finally, it sounds like you are a communicator and interested in speaking. If so, consider joining the Speak It Forward . There are some great discussions going on that will likely be very profitable for you.

Again, enjoy 48Days.Net. It's a great place to be!

Live it forward,
Kent Julian
