How did you hear about 48Days.NET, and what do you hope to get out of being a part of this community?
I heard about 48 days through LIfe Coaching. I hope to get information and a place to share information with each other to fulfill our calling from God
What is your current work situation? Employee, self-employed, generating any income on your own?
I am self employed. In February of 2012 i am opening a new real estate office in Naples,Fl. I am going to hire and train. I believe this is a great year for the real estate profession. Along with giving excellent training in the profession, I plan to also give Life and Business coaching classes. Everone in my company will be prosperious and have a passion for their position.
And then...what is your goal/dream for your work life?
I have a love and calling to the youth and young people. My granddaughter and I love to go to Christian concerts like TobyMac, Casting Crowns, Owl City, and more. We want to buy tickets to give to young people that might not otherwise be able to attend. For the kids that do not know the Lord, these concerts are places they would hear about Jesus.
How about your personal life? Any specific goals or achievements or dreams you are pursuing (or want to pursue)?
II have worked with young people. They are lost and seeking. If they can hear the real Jesus that loves them, died for them and accepts them, not the religious message the drives them away, they would come to Him to fill that empy place they are filling with other things.
I am going to live on the beach again and have a home that is a place of peace and love. I am going to spend more time with my family.
What would you say are your strongest talents? How are you 'wired' and what can you offer to the world (it's OK if you don't know yet, but knowing is key to pursuing your dreams!)?
I am a great encourager. I also am good at problem solving. Over the years I have had the opportunity both in business and ministry to be in charge of various projects. I have been told I have a gift of administration for this. When given a project, I am able to see the whole picture and what needs to be done to get it completed. I was once in charge of getting humanitarian aid to Central America after a hurricane. I was able to organize and orchestrate the project from the United States and travel to Central America to do the same on that end. I don't like boring work. I also have been in charge of putting together seminars and speaking engagements for business. I also enjoy this work. I love a challenge.
One of the reasons I like sales is that I also like people. I don't just think of them as a client but as an individual. I like to get to know them and what makes them what they are. This has been part of my success in business. Caring about the person and not just what they can do for me. I like the life of a small business person.
I wanted to send a quick welcome to the Write it Forward, Real Success and Profit for Writers group. We're glad you're here!
The group's discussion forum is packed with information, and is a great place to get feedback on your work, ideas and questions. Jump into the conversations and let us know how we can help you reach your writing goals.
I own my own business, I work with a Host Agency. It is not neccessary, but with the Host I have a family of knowledge I would not have on my own. If you have access to classes I would take one or two to in order to develop some contacts of like minded people. Otherwise there are some good home study courses.
I now have internet at home, so my life will be much nicer and more accessible. I was having to drive into town 12 miles to the coffee shop!
