Profile Information

How did you hear about 48Days.NET, and what do you hope to get out of being a part of this community?
The main area I heard about 48days.net was from following Dan's podcast over the last few years. I hope to gain friendships with other like-minded individuals on the path to the work that we love.
What is your current work situation? Employee, self-employed, generating any income on your own?
I am currently an employee at a Christian publishing company.
And then...what is your goal/dream for your work life?
I am working to build a side business helping people grow their spiritual lives and their walk with God.
How about your personal life? Any specific goals or achievements or dreams you are pursuing (or want to pursue)?
My wife and I recently finished paying off our "Baby Step 2" (Thanks Dave Ramsey) and are currently working on building the 3-6 month emergency fund.

Debt Paid Already: Two cars, variety of surgery doctors bills, my wife and I's student loans, two major sewer repairs, and a second mortgage.

Total debt paid so far: Just under $71k.
What would you say are your strongest talents? How are you 'wired' and what can you offer to the world (it's OK if you don't know yet, but knowing is key to pursuing your dreams!)?
I am a 'wired' system's planner--it is very easy for me to envision a system and how its parts fit together.

I am also a designer and an aspiring speaker.

My DISC scores say that I am a designer with a high C and secondary D characteristics. They also say that I am trying to be a DI. This is probably because I am trying to learn how to relate better with people because the DCs are so task oriented. :)

My Top 5 Strengths are:
1. Futuristic
2. Focus
3. Achiever
4. Connectedness
5. Ideation

My StandOut Strength Roles are:
1. Advisor
2. Pioneer

If you need someone to help you logically think through a problem and inspire you forward with a plan, let's talk!
Do you have a website presence anywhere?
More than one website?
If you have a product or service to promote (now or in the near future) this is your shot to state it! Say all you'd like:
The main product/service that I am promoting is a closer relationship with Jesus. My personal aim is: "To help lead people into opportunities where the Holy Spirit can impress upon their hearts their need and lead them into a closer relationship with Jesus". If growing closer to Jesus is a goal of yours, then check out the Reflective Bible Study site above, and because you're a friend of mine on 48days.net, I'll give you a special deal on membership prices. Shoot me a message if your interested!

Hey Cam!

I just wanted to write a short note to say thank you so much for recommending "WordFence Security" for Wordpress sites on a post awhile ago.  (I forgot which post.)  Just was "attacked" by someone trying to enter via the Wordpress login on one of my websites (they failed) and got an alert from WordFence stating the IP address.  It was from the Ukraine.

They were trying to log in with "admin" as the user name 20 times and got locked out.  Of course, I don't use that as my username for Wordpress.

Anyway, just wanted to tell you "thanks."  If I hadn't installed it, I would've never known someone was trying to get into my site!  Now, I just may have to change my password regularly.

Julia  :)

Ah hah! I knew it! When I saw in gmail you had "added a comment" to my profile, I immediately thought: Camden wants to know about Gary Vee's book! :)

Well, it has been great! But know I'm saying this while neglecting entirely the sections on Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram, & Tumblir. Am focusing on learning Facebook first of all, and am applying what he shares in the case studies ~ like Cone Palace in Kokomo, Indiana ~ to what I'm doing on the platform.

Appreciate you for checking up on me!

Speaking Success

Hi Speak it Forward friends,I just realized that I dropped the ball. :(I told you guys back in January that I'd let you know how my February speaking engagement went, and I totally missed posting anything about it. Long story short: it went great!! Both times.I had the opportunity to guest preach on Valentines day at a church about 45-60 minutes away, and then again the following weekend at my home church. Speaking tip #1 -- when you have a new audience, you don't need a 100% new message.…See More
