RAISE YOUR GAME - Explosive business growth for authors, speakers, and coaches

We all want to be more, earn more, and contribute more; but somewhere along the way, the day-to-day, had its say, and we find ourself stuck between unrealized ambitions and shrinking options. And, if we're not careful, we can further trap ourselves into no-win thinking with questions like - what’s special about me, can I really make a difference, what do I do next? Not you though! You are better than that. You wouldn't be a member of this community or group if you weren't hungry and eager for a…See More

"Bruce awesome post! So very right. Just as we must digest and metabolize thoughts and emotions as we do our food, we must also keep everything moving and flowing to avoid toxic overload - whether that's physically, mentally, emotionally,…"

My Someday is Today!

There are times when life seems like a stream making its way through the contours of a riverbed, gently flowing over the rocks toward a larger tributary.  Time is marked by the passing minutes and hours with no sense of urgency to them.Have you ever experienced a time when the ride is wild and the whitewater is swift?  A time where the journey is unpredictable when uncertainty invites its way into the raft. Have you ever felt like your boat was about to flip and action needs to be taken NOW? …See More

A Beautiful Tomorrow

Personal Note:  I consider this my “vintage” blog post, long before blogging ever existed.  In the 1970’s, a song called “We’ve Only Just Begun” was made popular by Karen and Richard Carpenter, a brother – sister duo referred to as The Carpenters.  Although I will not record a MP3 and sing for you, this is our version of “We’ve Only Just Begun”.What follows was written in May, 1977 as part of a final exam for a college creative writing class I had taken and was subsequently given to my future…See More

An Epic Cycling Adventure - The Great Allegheny Passage & CO Towpath

Note: A piece I wrote for publication in our local paper We recently returned from “the ride of our lives”!  What started out months ago as an intriguing idea for some big boy fun culminated with five guys riding their bicycles from Pittsburgh to Washington, DC.  In the blistering sun and sweltering humidity,  Jim Thomas (Lewisburg), Jeff Schans (Montoursville), Steve Speaks and his 13 year old son, Noah (Bloomsburg), and myself (Watsontown), all members of Revival Tabernacle in Watsontown,…See More

"We Got a Mission!"

The world of an almost three year old is full of fascination, surprises, and pull-it-out-of-your-hat statements.  The week before last we were blessed to have our oldest granddaughter, Danalyn, stay with us for a few days.  We look forward to future visits with her, as well as her cousin, Naomi, and her sibling in the making, “Baby Silly Squirt” as she affectionately refers to the unborn child.  She cracks me up with the things that come out of her mouth.

At this time in…

Walk Through the Doors

Life has a funny way of coming full circle and this became evident to us this past weekend.  Jackie and I traveled to Pittsburgh to take in a baseball game between the surging Pittsburgh Pirates and the Colorado Rockies.  Although they lost the game we attended, the atmosphere at PNC Park was fun as the Pirates, who currently have the best record in baseball, appear headed to the playoffs after twenty non-winning seasons.   For me, it was a step back into a world in…
