That's when the water balloon hit the fan….

Hi all,Interesting position I find myself in, probably one that you all here are familiar with.  My speaking topic is on that age old question "what do you want to do with the rest of your life?"  I've written a 46-page manual which I'm about to release in ebook form (for a small fee) and I'm doing several videos that outline a few parts of the manual.  Little background…I work as a sportscaster for a Division I university in North Carolina.  It's a dream job.  I get to travel around to…See More

Looking for some legal advice...

Hello all, I'm sure this question has come up before and I've searched for it in the 48Days.net community and can't really find an answer.  I was wondering how you go about setting up your speaking gigs corporately - if you just start out as a sole proprietor or if you've formed an LLC or perhaps gone in a different direction. I'm at the point where I would like to make a concrete commitment to this as a profession and so I obviously want to protect myself and my family - therefore it seems…See More

Getting back to it...

Sorry for the delay and the lapse in being away from 48days.net.  I've been studying for my comprehensive exams that were this past weekend for my masters degree in education.  I'm not good at counting chickens but I think I did well enough to pass.

I plan to be a lot more visible on the site in the coming weeks and hopefully I can answer some questions other members have as well as have some of my own answered.

Anyway, short blog entry, but I will post more in the coming…

Getting ready for a launch...

Hello all at 48days.net - I hope that things are going well for you.

I am very early in my quest to become a speaker in the education industry and I am very close to launching a product which I believe can be life-changing for high school and college students.  It's a "Success Manual" geared towards using one's education to accomplish career goals.  I believe too often we are forced into thinking that school is an obstacle to our future and we just try to get through it so we can do…

Hello all, hope that business is going well (or will be going well).

I wanted to just post an introductory entry about me and my endeavor and some of the questions that I have - feel free to respond as you want to, praise and criticism are equally accepted.

I'm starting a business called Graduate With Success which is based a lot on the model that Dan Miller has going except I'd like my greatest effort to be as a speaker.  I've got several products (a book, a manual and a…

Hey Bill,

So glad you’re here, it’s always great to welcome someone who is interested in pursuing the life they were born to live.

If you haven’t already noticed, this is a great community of people interested in growing in the most important areas of life, and to help others do the same. One of the quickest ways to get connected and begin growing and sharing is through the Discussion Groups.

I host the Lifestyles of the ExceptionZ Group, where we discuss, inspire, and encourage each other in being Exceptional in all of the most important areas of our lives. We would love to have you join the conversations there and continue your journey along with us.

I also noticed that you are interested in Speaking. You will definitely want to get involved in Kent Julian's Speak It Forward Group, there are a ton of great discussions always going on there.

Again, Welcome to the community, I can’t wait to gain from your insights, and get to know you better also.

Blessings,

Randell Mark Olson
