Your place for community & resources to find or create work you love

We are so glad you're here and ready to take the next step! We created 48days.net as a place for community. For people to encourage each other and help each other in finding or creating work that is meaningful.

But frankly, we've outgrown it, so we're moving to provide you new resources.

48Days.net will be closing as it is today on November 30, 2017. Until then current members can click the button below to access groups and resources.

If you're new to 48days.net, connect here for a close up look at our thriving 48 Days Eagles Community and to get weekly free resources and motivation as you find and create work you love.

Sequential Stack – A table top activity

As promised I wanted to give a mesh up of Hanoi Towers and Key Pad. I am really starting to enjoy this activity for it’s fast paced movements with ease on the physical nature. It can be run as a competitive activity or self motivation for the group and seeing if they can improve their

Helium Pole – A Communication Activity

I do like this activity. The paradigm shift in communication between the group is amazing. It brings about conflict quickly to identify the behaviors that the group needs to work through and improve on. Though this activity has been around since the 70’s I believe, it has always been a big favorite. One thing about

Hanoi Towers – A Table Top Activity

This is a great, fast paced activity that pulls people together to talk about goals and what it takes to improve communication. This is an old puzzle I believe was created over 2000 years ago. The stories go back to having 32 pieces in the puzzle and still only having three spaces to place them. This

My goal/dream for my work life would be to provide and coach others on how to work as an effective team. Also to show others how to coach and bring people together in fun ways. As an added bonus I would love to have a place designed to host team building for groups, seminars for training and used a multi-functional building with an indoor ropes course.

Don't Touch Me-2

Don’t Touch Me! History – This is a game that I have learned from various facilitators over the past 20 years. It has proven to be a good “go to” activity when working with all types of participants. Originally I found out that this activity is from Rohnke & Butler, …

Doubles - A Fun Icebreaker

Posted on June 13, 2016 at 9:30pm 7 Comments

This is one of my favorite icebreakers that I have use to get the energy up of any group. The goal is simple. Have each person roll the dice. If they get a double then they start writing 1-100 on a sheet of paper. The first person to 100 WINS!

Don’t let the simplicity fool you. Groups really get into this activity because it gets competitive very quickly.I give credit for this activity…

Block Suspension Bridge - An innovation team activity for group coaching

Discovered this when working with some engineers. Using building blocks I wanted to challenge them on finding new and creative ways to innovate.

Activity Objective: The idea is for the team to create and suspend the longest bridge using children’s building blocks.…
