Your place for community & resources to find or create work you love

We are so glad you're here and ready to take the next step! We created 48days.net as a place for community. For people to encourage each other and help each other in finding or creating work that is meaningful.

But frankly, we've outgrown it, so we're moving to provide you new resources.

48Days.net will be closing as it is today on November 30, 2017. Until then current members can click the button below to access groups and resources.

If you're new to 48days.net, connect here for a close up look at our thriving 48 Days Eagles Community and to get weekly free resources and motivation as you find and create work you love.

What would you say are your strongest talents? How are you 'wired' and what can you offer to the world (it's OK if you don't know yet, but knowing is key to pursuing your dreams!)?
I'm a networker, an influencer, and a creative thinker. I like problem solving and fresh approaches.

If you have a product or service to promote (now or in the near future) this is your shot to state it! Say all you'd like:
I'm in the process of launching a podcast called twelve-minute muse. I will be doing 12-minute interviews with creative artists about the creative process.
Feel free to share your Twitter name, Facebook page, and any other social media way to connect with you!

What Are You About?: Have you Honed an Elevator Pitch?

Posted on December 17, 2013 at 5:41pm 0 Comments

In business, we often hear the importance of having an elevator pitch.  If you're not sure what this is, here's an article that does a good job of explaining how to craft one. Obviously, an elevator pitch only gets better with time...

Is there something better than "You're Welcome"...Really?

Posted on December 11, 2013 at 9:55am 2 Comments

Last month, I read an article that suggested not using the phrase "you're welcome," after someone says "thank you."  The article was a response to someone who suggested to say instead, "I'm sure you'd do the same thing for me." I have to admit... to continue reading, click …

Barry - glad you joined this wonderful community.  Rob Clinton and I moderate the blogs - just wanted to share a quick suggestion.  If you show a paragraph or two of your post and then put the link to your blog I believe you will get much more activity on your blogs. People like to see a bit of what the post is about.  If we can help in any way, be sure to let us know.

Welcome Barry,

I try to take time each week to welcome new members to 48Days.Net. So, let me say "welcome" to you! I know you will find this to be a great site filled with people who are experiencing true success in both life and work.

One thing I noticed on your profile is that you are self-employed. That is awesome! What a great achievement. Keep up the good work!

Also, I'd like to point out that one of the best places to connect with other liked-minded people here is in the GROUPS section. There are groups for just about every interest you can think of, and if you can't find a group that interests you, you can start one. Groups are my favorite part of 48Days.Net!

Finally, if you happen to be a speaker or author (or want to become either), check out these two groups. They are two of the most popular groups on the site because of all the great conversation taking place:

* Speak It Forward -- REAL Success and Profit for Speakers!
* Write It Forward -- REAL Success and Profit for Writers!

Again, enjoy 48Days.Net. It's a great place to be!

Live it forward,
Kent Julian
