What hit home with me was realising that any worst case scenario that didn't end in demise is ok. Wow! Never looked at it that way. It makes all the many, dreaded worst case scenarios ok to face. As a Christian, that should have been my guide all along, but I thought it only applied to "ministry" issues. Now that I am learning, through Dan's books, that everything that I do is part of my ministry, your advice on taking a leap of faith resonated. Thanks, Andy!
Loved the Teleconference tonight!! I realized my adjective for that discomfort we feel when making change was closer to a feeling "dread" than "discomfort", hence why I usually can research the heck out of making a decision or taking action. Well I finally took the plunge and joined the 48 days. net community and joined TECHSHOP . I was so excited but 5 mins afterwards felt this overwhelming sense of dread.
Andy, these words really hit home with me "what if fear is a mile marker, not a stop sign?" I had been treating fear as a stop sign for so long, and where did that get me?..no where! LOL so now I'm moving forward, counting my mile markers as I go. Thanks so much. Qiana
