Greeting to all members,
“When was the last time you did something for the first time?”
I love that thought and ask myself every morning what I will do today for the very first time. Think about it - Children do this every day. As adults we tend to conform to routine, and risk missing opportunities to grow and learn. Why? Because trying something new means possibly making mistakes, failing, wasting time? It also means expanding horizons, fulfilling dreams, building confidence, and experiencing new adventures and opportunities. I know for me that mentality of wanting to do something for the first time has been the key to meeting influential people, launching new products and services, and experiencing the abundance that seems to show up as a result.
Here's another quotation that challenges us to try something new: “Everybody has their own private Mount Everest they were put on this earth to climb. You may never reach the summit; for that you will be forgiven. But if you don’t make at least one serious attempt to get above the snow-line, years later you will find yourself lying on your deathbed, and all you will feel is emptiness.” -- Hugh Macleod
Okay I can't resist - just one more:
