Your place for community & resources to find or create work you love
We are so glad you're here and ready to take the next step! We created 48days.net as a place for community. For people to encourage each other and help each other in finding or creating work that is meaningful.
But frankly, we've outgrown it, so we're moving to provide you new resources.
48Days.net will be closing as it is today on November 30, 2017. Until then current members can click the button below to access groups and resources.
If you're new to 48days.net, connect here for a close up look at our thriving 48 Days Eagles Community and to get weekly free resources and motivation as you find and create work you love.
Greetings to all 48Days.net members,
Here's a quote to start off this weeks notes:
“I take rejection as someone blowing a bugle in my ear to wake me up and get going, rather than retreat.” – Sylvester Stallone, Actor, writer and director
I trust you respond in exactly the same way.
If you’re new to the 48Days.net community – welcome. This is an amazing group of people who are not content with mediocrity in their work – or anywhere in their lives. You’ll find the members here share their resources and expertise willingly and also share your excitement when you succeed.
We are seeing an explosion of books being published, speakers being booked, coaches filling their schedules, artists finding new ways to market their work, musicians leveraging their talent and creative businesses from podcasting to dry cleaning pickup to muscle car restoration being launched successfully.
I’m thrilled as I see more people who are finding their true calling and applying that in work that is meaningful, purposeful – and profitable. If you’re still in that process, be encouraged; you can do what many others here have done.
Each week we feature some of our favorite forum discussions, blogs, groups and members in the Notes on the front page. Please note that those who are featured and highlighted are always selected from those who have a clear picture, are active here in this community and are adding valuable content in some way. No magic or inside track – those are the things we look for.
This week we're highlighting:
Featured Discussion – Jason Evers asked for some brainpower in Graphic designer needs help with business plan... Jason says he wants to be an “art department” for businesses who don’t have one. And yes, that includes about 97% of the businesses out there. If you’ve got some ideas for how Jason can position and market his new business, jump in the conversation and share your tips.
Featured Blog -- Getting to the Right Direction. "What will it take for you to really think about your passions and what God put you on this earth to do? Will it take something “catastrophic?” I sincerely hope not! However, as Darren Rayborn relates his recent experience and the event that forced him to do some deep soul searching, I believe you will be encouraged and motivated to take the time today to make the decisions that will propel you into fulfilling God’s call on your life.
Featured Group – Karen Wortman heads up our Grow Your Business group. Okay, I know we ALL want to grow our businesses but this group has a unique focus - and a play on the word “grow.” This group is designed for individuals that are interested in building a business around gardening, landscaping, and "growing" something. And this is one active group. You’ll learn about not only gardening but also there are discussions about horses, mules, chickens, goats and tilapia. This group is committed to healthy and earth-friendly practices and Karen and the rest of the gang share their wisdom readily.
Featured Member – our featured member this week is Pierce Marrs. Pierce heads up the Relationship Sales 101 group here on 48Days.net, does a great weekly blog, was a recent panelist at PodCamp Nashville, is a professor at FreeAgent Academy, and is now known as being the host of the Shark Tank Fan Podcast. This is how you build a personal brand and a platform. Way to set the standard Pierce!
