Your place for community & resources to find or create work you love
We are so glad you're here and ready to take the next step! We created 48days.net as a place for community. For people to encourage each other and help each other in finding or creating work that is meaningful.
But frankly, we've outgrown it, so we're moving to provide you new resources.
48Days.net will be closing as it is today on November 30, 2017. Until then current members can click the button below to access groups and resources.
If you're new to 48days.net, connect here for a close up look at our thriving 48 Days Eagles Community and to get weekly free resources and motivation as you find and create work you love.
Here's my suggestion for this week:
“Read, every day, something no one else is reading. Think, everyday, something no one else is thinking. Do, every day, something no one else would be silly enough to do. It is bad for the mind to continually be part of unanimity.”
Christopher Morley quotes (American writer and editor 1890-1957)
If you’re new to the 48Days.net community – welcome. This is an amazing group of people who are not content with mediocrity in their work – or anywhere in their lives. You’ll find the members here share their resources and expertise willingly and also share your excitement when you succeed.
We are seeing an explosion of books being published, speakers being booked, coaches filling their schedules, artists finding new ways to market their work, musicians leveraging their talent and creative businesses from podcasting to dry cleaning pickup to muscle car restoration being launched successfully.
I’m thrilled as I see more people who are finding their true calling and applying that in work that is meaningful, purposeful – and profitable. If you’re still in that process, be encouraged; you can do what many others here have done.
Each week we feature some of our favorite forum discussions, blogs, groups and members in the Notes on the front page. Please note that those who are featured and highlighted are always selected from those who have a clear picture, are active here in this community and are adding valuable content in some way. No magic or inside track – those are the things we look for.
This week we're highlighting:
Featured Discussion – Matt Kadlec posted this week, asking for some Additional Money Making Ideas from the 48 Days community. He got some immediate feedback that I think shapes how we all need to approach our desire for more income: start first by identifying what you already enjoy and understand. Don’t try to pull something out of the air as a way to make money. It won’t last if your only motivation was to make money. Add your input to this discussion.
Featured Blog – CPR for the CEO. Do you have a Love Hate relationship with your job or business? Randell Mark Olson did, but it wasn’t until he began letting his strengths reflect his vision where things began to change. Come find out more about applying CPR for the CEO…
Featured Group – Justin Lukasavige created a new group for behind the scenes info on my new book – Wisdom Meets Passion. As you may know by now we’re doing a unique experiment in releasing this book. You can get special packages and products that we aren’t offering anyplace else. (You can see those here – Wisdom Meets Passion). Just jump in the group to stay abreast of all the things this group is going to do.
Featured Member – our featured member this week is Deby Dearman from Franklin, TN. Deby has been a long-time friend of mine and has shown herself to be a faithful friend to many here in this community. She and her husband Kirk have been respected leaders in the worship music field for a long time as well. As the founder of the Artists Arise group she offers not only business advice but personal compassion as well. Drop in to Deby’s site to just listen to some calming music for your day. You’ll get a sense of the source of her caring spirit and inspiration for her many ventures.
Keep us posted on what you're doing to accomplish your goals!
