I trust you're anticipating a wonderful celebration week. With w holiday in the middle of the week most of us will probably be preparing for fun and recovering from the same - making a pretty short work week. We're going to have all our children and grandkids here for a week of playing and catching up.
If you’re new to the 48Days.net community – welcome. This is an amazing group of people who are not content with
mediocrity in their work – or anywhere in their lives. You’ll find the members here share their resources and expertise willingly and also share your excitement when you succeed.
We are seeing an explosion of books being published, speakers being booked, coaches filling their schedules, artists finding new ways to market their work, musicians leveraging their talent and creative businesses from podcasting to dry cleaning pickup to muscle car restoration being launched successfully.
I’m thrilled as I see more people who are finding their true calling and applying that in work that is meaningful, purposeful – and profitable. If you’re still in that process, be encouraged; you can do what many others here have done.
Each week we feature some of our favorite forum discussions, blogs, groups and members in the Notes on the front page. Please note that those who are featured and highlighted are always selected from those who have a clear picture, are active here in this community and are adding valuable content in some way. No magic or inside track – those are the things we look for.
This week we're highlighting:
Featured Discussion – Dave Posner asked for some ideas in Name Change Advice. He’s going to be coaching others who are having consumer related problems with: Identity Theft; Credit Repair; Insurance Claims; and Consumer related issues, such as trying to get a service that was paid for but not provided, or returning defective merchandise, etc. and wants some suggestions for a creative, meaning business name. You can add your 2cents to the discussion.
Featured Blog – Wee Fun Creativity Lives Outside of Your Comfort Zone. Scripture tells us we are to come to God as little children. And who hasn’t heard the old adage, “From the mouths of babes…”? Children are innocent and open, curious and enchanted by everything. They live outside the box and a comfort zone is non-existent because they don’t know they “can’t” do something. Peter A. Ferguson shares how we as adults, can tap into the creativity and courage children have and specifically his adorable son, to step out of our comfort zones.
Featured Group – Scott Moore has launched a new group called Platform. You may recognize that as the title of Michael Hyatt’s recently released book by the same title. So the focus of this group is “for those who want to stand out and have their message heard.” Ah – is there anyone who that does NOT include? If you’re looking for ways to expand your audience and to give yourself a bigger voice, check out the tips and resources available in this group.
Featured Member – our featured member this week is Rick Seigmund from San Diego, CA. Rick is building his leadership coaching and speaking business and says he’s “looking to help bring real hope and change back to America!” To make himself the candidate to do that Rick has gotten coaching himself, come to live events, joined critical 48Days.net groups for his success, comments on forum posts and writes positive blogs regularly. Watch where Rick is a year from now. You cannot do all those right things and not have it accelerate your success.
Enjoy the week - but don't break the momentum of moving toward your next level of success - Dan Miller
