Share 'How To Make $ w/Adsense?'

Hi, My sites were started in Aug 2011 and for the last 4 weeks, my adsense earnings have plummeted. I was making about $5/day and now I am making about $1.50/day. Does anyone have suggestions for how I can go about researching what has happened? Google's info isnt really helpful.
