Hey Everybody.  I always read the comments but I don't often post.  I'm coming down to the wire on something that I could use your help on.  I only have a couple days left on my Kickstarter launch.  I know, I know I should have let you know first thing.  But anything any of you can do to help I'd be ever so grateful.  http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1319775277/fused-glass-kiln-and... Thanks for all the inspiration you all give me every week!  and Kent, thanks for the video link.  I shared it with my boys, too.

I do photography, lots around my hometown, Asheville, NC and the amazing mountains in my area. A friend suggested I write an ebook about where and what to photograph in Asheville and the area. We get about 200,000 visitors in the city and a half million in the mountains surrounding. I can do this easily. I can write, but I was thinking to first put it on eBay for $4.99 in a pdf file. What do you all think?

Then do other forms which I know little about - like an app. I am probably a day away from finishing. Any advice would be appreciated and any samples of similar guides also!

I bought it, but haven't gotten to it yet, and all the hype has me, well... hyped!

On the same note, Ray Edwards is offering a discount on an upcoming 90 minute webinar on Kindle publishing.  If you don't subscribe to his newsletter, he's throwing out notifications now.  Webinar is on Thursday.

I love the APE book - I listened to a webinar a few weeks ago where Kawasaki talked about his process. Good stuff.

During some flights this weekend I had time to read A.P.E. by Guy Kawasaki and loved it. The book is very detailed, it could almost be a texted book. If you have or will self-publish, you should check it out. It literally covers everything from a highly successful traditional and self-published author.

I guest posted today over on Tracy Riva Books and Reviews about what's it like to write a memoir. Here's a link to it:

Friends...want to be inspired about pursuing work you love?

Check out this short post and video: Work Hard Play Hard - Where Do You Stand?

I promise, it will be worth the investment of a few minutes.

Hi everyone - I just wanted to let you know about something fun I'm launching today, especially for anyone with a creative bent. This is a 40-day experience called "Fit to Create" and it's all about maximizing your creative potential by getting healthier. It's not a diet or exercise plan, just 40 days of encouragement to be healthy and energize your life. It deals more with a person's attitude and thinking than anything else.

This idea came from Andy Traub's "Early to Rise" email challenge, and his recent book by the same title. That is a fantastic way to write a book, help people, and get feedback all at the same time. Brilliant! Thank you Andy!

Being a part of this group has been a real inspiration to me, and the FTC Challenge is partly the result of that! So thank you all for blessing my life and giving me the courage to put something out there like this.

Here is a graphic that gives the basic info. I also put up a post today that introduces the Challenge: http://www.artistssuitcase.com/are-you-ready-for-the-ftc-challenge/

How to write a book, get it published, and start making money immediately (isn't that what we all want?)
