Hello Aaron:

I found your comments on publishing public domain content for Kindle very interesting. I am interested in reading a copy and reviewing it for you when  that time comes.

Congratulations, Aaron, on your Anne collection and on your new collection! That is terrific. I will look forward to your book and would be interested in doing a review.

As many of you know, I've been exploring the world of publishing public domain content for Kindle. My Anne of Green Gables collection continues to amaze me with its staying power. It's been in the top 100 for Kindle for over 3 weeks now.

I've started writing a book about the process and hope to have some review copies available soon for those that are interested.

And if it's of interest to you, I released another collection a couple of weeks ago. It's called American Slave Narratives and includes 6 complete works helping to tell the story of slavery in America around the time of the Civil War.

BTW Kent and Dan, My book The CAll took a little longer than 48 days from writing to publishing... However, it wasn't two years thank goodness.  More like 4 months...Many thanks to the two of you for writing the forward (Dan) and a recommendation (Kent)!!

We all know that publishers say it's a two-year process from writing to publishing.  Do you think there are exceptions to that rule?  Oh yeah!  As we all know the new Pope was selected yesterday. The white smoke is still swirling from the chimney and the first book about the new Pope is already scheduled to be released April 30th - 48 DAYS FROM TODAY.  That's like Kent's process.  Book on the New Pope

Thanks Kathy! BTW way Christine, I had the chance to speak at a conference in Sydney last year and LOVED it, such a cool city :)

Hi Christine! Where are you at in Oz?

Eastern Daylight Time (EDT) (New York City, NY or Detroit, MI) is currently 13 hours Behind Melbourne, Victoria.  Hope that helps!
