I've been away for awhile...my mom had a stroke in May and the summer was spent dealing with her affairs. She's 80% recovered, but stubborn as hell.
I finally finished "The Saxophone Diaries", which I have been working on for nearly a year. That was a fun book to write.
"A Stroke of Bad Luck: A survival guide for when someone you know has a stroke" actually just took me two days to write. It describes my experiences with dealing with my mom's stroke and the 11 lessons I learned through that.
I've attached the pdf for you to read and download if you'd like.
Oh James, so very sorry to hear about your mom having a stroke. So happy she is 80% recovered and sending over good thoughts that she will continue to improve!!!
