Jason, if you are like me, and didn't see the "Add a Discussion" link, it's just above where it says "Comment Wall."

Although it probably doesn't pay much you could try writing for sites like TextBroker. There is also iWriter. And Constant Content. Also, look into writing niche blogs and affliate marketing (I don't do this myself, but know those who do and do well with them--although I think it is harder now than it used to be).

Jason, congrats on the writing you've been doing. It may not be everything you're looking for long-term, but it sounds like an awesome boot camp to get exposed to new people, projects, and things to learn.

Finding paid writing gigs isn't my strength. I'm sure others here in the community will have good ideas. You might want to consider creating an actual discussion post if you're looking for feedback. It makes it a little easier to get replies and revisit them later.

Have you done any searching on sites like Upwork.com to look for potential gigs? I'm not sure if it's the best place to land well-paying projects. But browsing what people are asking for might give you some ideas of the type of work you're well suited for or what's in high demand. It sounds like you could build an excellent bio based on your experience and show you know what you're doing.

Let me know if you have any questions about website/blog setup if you decide to start building an online platform.

Hey everybody. It's been a very long time since I visited here. I think the last time was when I first started to see some possibilities. Even though I had written a lot for my own pleasure,  I didn't really consider myself a writer at that time. But the idea was attractive to me.

Since the beginning of March, I've actually been getting paid to write copy for Ari Galper, a leader speaker, author, trainer and consultant in the Sales arena, as well as in the professional consultant space. It's been very good for my confidence, as I've been writing everything from book bios, landing pages, email sequences, newsletters, book letters and more for Ari's clients. Much of the time I have little to go on and I often have to ghost write for the clients, most of whom are not writers. Quite honestly, it's starting to become a bit mundane because everything has to fit in their box and I fancy free-writing over that. But I'm still grateful for the experience and the added income, albeit modest.

Like many of you, I have considered writing a book, but I'm not sure what to write about. A lot has happened in my life over the last 4 years and I'm still trying to sort it all out. I am looking at building a platform around living life with the end in mind, which is how countless authors write their stories. But right now I would like to find other paid writing gigs asap, so I can continue working virtually. If any of you have any recommendations on where to look for work like that, I would be extremely for your help.

Much obliged! :)

Hi Everyone! Jen McDonough and I have FREE webinar coming May 25 that we want to make sure you know about: 3 Ways to Monetize Your Message

Whether you've invested a lot of time, energy and money into writing and publishing your book and need to recoup your expenses, or you’re wondering if you can afford to publish and market a book...this webinar is for you!

What if you and your book are “not about the money”? Why should you care about earning more when all you really care about is sharing your message and helping people? Consider this: the more you earn, the more people you can help.

I hope you'll join us! It's Wednesday, May 25 at 11 a.m. CST. No charge. No strings. And as always, we'll have the chat room open for Q&A. Space is limited, so if you're interested, go ahead and reserve your spot.

See you soon!
